Went for a second visit in the last week of May 2013. We enjoyed it even more than the first time thanks to the amazing staff members, especially, Mazem, Samy (the one helping with pool maintenance) and especially Bingo. Bingo was excellent with my boys and with us, keeping them entertained and us happy and amused. I will definitely come again, purely for the staff who were amazing. They don't get enough credit as I saw some other guests are extremely rude to the staff, and the staff feel as though they cannot say anything for fear of losing their jobs, which is incredibly sad to see. Mahmoud in reception was also brilliant to us, as well as the lifeguards, Ahmed (both of them). The restaurants were excellent, providing a wide range of choice depending on your mood, and the chefs were very friendly and began to recognise us after the very first day. My daughter's birthday fell during the holiday which the staff helped celebrate by decorating a table and singing and dancing as a surprise for her birthday, which was excellent. Thanks once again to Bingo (Hassan), Mazem and Samy for making this trip unforgettable and a great experience. We will surely visit again, purely to see the, all again.

Room Tip: Choose one of the 1000+ rooms, they are excellent and convenient with easy access to restaurants and...

This place is great and May is probably the best time of year to go. The hotel is kept very clean and the rooms were cleaned every day. We tipped the cleaner a little and he left sprite or coke as well as well as numorous towel made animals. All the restaurants had reasonable buffett meals (we couldnt fault the staff there either, very friendly).
The pools are well kept with life guards on the bigger ones, they insist if a child doesnt look comfortable swinning they provide arm bands. Its better to be safe than sorry. Always sunbeds available at this time of year.
The waterpark was very good and wait time for slides was minimal.
Coffee in the jazz bar is excellent.
There is a kids club and entertainment but it was on too late for our little one.
A few negatives: This is mainly a German / Russian resort, maybe its a cultural thing but they can be rude (e.g. pushing to front of the que, taking huge plates of food)
Although the hotel has a decent kids club who work very hard they do not have english staff, again russian, german, egyptian. Our lillte girl wanted to do the kids club stuff but would have liked an english person looking after them so didnt go even though they kept asking her to join them.
The spa sales staff and trip staff are very friendly but a bit too persistant. Its like having cold callers calling 6-8 times a day. The treatments are very goo though so if you can haggle them to a price you are willing to pay then its worth doing.
Potential negative: This place is huge so during the school holidays i would imagine it would be like butlins in the restaurants.

Room Tip: The rooms in the 1000 range are close to reception, restaurants and waterpark, but far away enough t...

We've been to the jungle aqua park hotel during may 2013. The hotel is really nice with a great Aqua park. They have several restaurants with different cuisines (Italian, german, asian, indian and of course oriental), not all restaurants are available for all meals though. the hotel is huge with lots of swimming pools to serve near-by rooms. One main swimming pool for the activities and the aqua park. Each pool has it own pool-bar, but all the restaurants are near-by the main pool. The draw-back is the room quality cause the room sizes differ, but all have the same low quality furniture for beds, tables, desks and wardrobes. The bathroom was fine and spacious and all the balconies are with a pool view. The hotel does not have a beach, but there is a shuttle bus to take the guests to the nearest beach. in short, i gave the four stars rating for the aqua park, u've got to try it...its great!

Where to start well arrived well past midnight informed restaurant had been kept open.... Fantastic we thought not really then took to our bungalow with a long winded tour of everyone else's rooms so we asked for directions and went our separate way. Hotel is amazing pools are ample Egyptians a little creepy at times appearing at the bottom of the bed shouting England at me .... Politely asking them to leave usually works. One of the lifeguards on the kids waterpark tried to make friends with my six year old made me uncomfortable so went to another pool. Food was good breakfast was better fresh eggs omelettes etc cooked on demand. Show cooking quite often. Attended a show at the neighboring hotel wouldn't advise it the show wasn't good but came back with a mixture of flea and mosquito bites. We went last week in sep first week in oct it was very very hot. Beach wasn't great sadly a man made beach you walk on what feels like building sand and risk losing a leg getting into the sea due to a massive amount of very sharp rocks. All inclusive extends to the beach but you have to wrestle Russians and Germans to get there. Now the worst part the Russians and Germans standing on my 4 year old in a rush to literally grab at food swearing because my child accidentally splashed them whilst playing in the pool this forced a near scuffle with the German women and myself very rude nation of people. More Russians than anything one attacked my four year old in the pool trying to drown him !! Strong words from my partner to the kids dad sorted that out.
Evening music is aimed at Russians or Germans so couldn't even understand half of it.
Broke my nose on a water slide no real safety guidelines later that day an area of padding was put up.
God awful views of people in very tight swimming trunks turned my stomach at some points.
Overall lovely hotel but would advise you avoid the Russian and German school holidays.

Clean rooms we had a single storey bungalow which was lovely. Never got bitten by anything as they keep on top of pest control. Our cleaner was great left all sorts of towel creatures for my kids which was good. Felt sorry for all the staff gave them bottled water if we were passing as they work 18 hour days and only get one bottle of water a day.

Egyptian tummy was great spent a few nights in with kids as they had it so bad but comes with the holiday I suppose.

Overall well enjoyed family holiday kids loved the water park plus the various splash pools dotted around. If your buying cigarettes wait until you get to airport the shop at the resort sells fakes. Plus cheaper at airport.

Room Tip: Ask for a single storey room near reception others further out got burgled whilst we were there.

We visited the jungle aqua park between may20th and June 3 and had a great time. We were a group of 4 adults and two kids(11,12) in rooms 2020 and 2021. The whole complex is very spacious and spotlessly clean. The food was great and would ask those that complain about the choice "what do you eat at home", because the choice there was massive. We enjoyed the mexican the best and drank in the bar upstairs on the open terrace, the waiters there were great. We visited the aqua park at lunch time and for the last hour of each day and got rings easily. A must do is the trip to many mahmay island it is superb. Overall a great holiday and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Me and my family stayed at the Jungle Aqua Park from the 24th May till 7th June. We had a fantastic holiday. The staff at La Veranda bar were absolutely fantastic and always helpful. The staff at the Alfredo restaurant were fantastic and always delivered great service. The food there was great too especially the freshly made pizzas. The hotel was always kept very clean and the staff work very hard to keep it this way. There is a great selection of food to choose from at all times during the day. The guy at La Brioche makes fantastic lattes and works hard around the clock. The transfers from the airport are literally ten minutes max.

The animation team were very friendly. They definitely like to get the crowd involved.
The only down side to the holiday was the music choice. One night J Lo's dance the night away played 4 times in a row but sometimes it was played in a different language. They must have other music but just don't play it. They also love Adele and I appreciate Adele is really good but after hearing it everyday and night for two weeks I definitely don't want to hear it for a while. The stage in the pool though is a great idea and its fun to watch other people dancing.

Overall, it was a great holiday and that is mainly down to the fantastic staff they have employed there. The weather was constantly sunny and hot and we can't wait to go back.

Ate at the mediterarean restaurant most nights. Find a table where the waiter called Ali maher looks after you. He's great and will cater for all your needs. The kids loved him.
Aqua water park great. Go early for sun beds.
Tip the waiters and you will get 5 star treatment. Take pound coins or dollar notes. Hot chocolates in the reception and bars are to die for. A must!

Room Tip: Room 1088. Great by pool. Quite. Room cleaner excellent.
