We have stayed in Hurghada before so this was our next visit. The hotel was great, we felt we were in a small town with so many restaurants to choose to eat from, the swimming pools and water slides at the Aqua park kept the whole family amused.

The bungalows were large and kept clean and most were opposite a swimming area and this time of year we had plenty of choice of sunbeds etc.

Weather great, a little rain on one or two evenings but this didn't affect our stay whatsoever.

Just returned from 7 nights at the Jungle Aqua Park hotel. The airport arrival was smother than anticipated and the transfer to hotel was quick. The Thompson guide was very informative on the bus pointing out local shops etc. The check in at the hotel was a first where all the bus checked in at once, then we were walked in a large group to everyones rooms very strange but didn't take that long. We stayed in a lovely bungalow which was bigger than expected and the daily maid (male) did over and above. The pool directly outside the bunglow was quiet all week and very clean the attendent was very friendly and was always around. There was also a mobile drinks service where a member of staff wheeled drinks around in a cooler. All staff were friendly and went out of their way. The main pool with the animation team was very popular but there was always a bed, they worked very hard keeping everyone happy. We found the Aqua park very disappoointing as it was very busy with outside guests and with long queues. To get a sun bed you had to arrive very early and unless you like queues you had to go on the slides first thing for for the last hour. Slides were good but they only had the wave machine going once a day at 3pm. The resturants were ok, some of the food was cold and we went to the take away once during our stay and wouldn't recommend it. The other resturants serve simular food and we always found something different to eat. The Egyptian bread and freshly made pizza's are a must . We had a birthday meal one evening and the staff went out of their way to make this special. Now for a WARNING we went to the local shops the ones down from the supermarket. There was beggar children on the street here, they opened my bag (only had water in) but my husband had them going in his pockets and felt one of them take his wallet. Not a good experience and we did not return to these shops. The shops we would recommend are the ones you will see on the bus route to the beach. They are about 10mins walk away down one road. The beach was a little disappointing, we had no problem getting a bed and they are very private. The beach was clean but not sandy very gritty and you had to go out along way to the corals for snorkling where it was very crowded. If you do want to go snorkling you are best to take a trip, there is plenty of sellers at the hotel and our rep had them on sale for £30 adults, £20 children. Overall we had a lovely holiday which was made special by our maid who was very friendly and giving him a daily tip we always had a towel animal on our bed and he made flowers for my 12 year old daughter. He also decorated our room for my husbands birthday. We would recommend this hotel and though we didnt use them they had wonderful water pools for younger children one in the hotel area and one in the Aqua park.

We stayed here for 1 week in June 2012 and had a great time! The hotel is amazing spotless and staff cannot do enough to help you! The frozen cocktails are lovely! The pool party is a great night although it is for kids later on the adults can get in the pool, really good fun! This is the perfect hotel to go if you have kids or are a big kid yourself! Be careful if you go quad biking health and safety is not a word they understand! Rooms are nice enough as you will never need to be in them! I would really reccomend this hotel!

Room Tip: Rooms near the reception are best as near everything

Just returned from two week holiday at Jungle aqua park, very clean modern hotel, friendly staff and excellent water park to keep children of all ages entertained.

The water park was great fun and well controlled by the lifeguards and staff, could of done with a few more single & twin rings to help speed things up a bit. Just be careful of the slippery floors and some nationalities trying to jump the queue, for some reason a few russians thought they were more important than anyone else!!

Plenty of different places to eat, although the quality and variety of the food on some evenings was quite poor. The breakfast and lunch menu's were excellent, both in the main restaurants and the water park.

All inclusive drinks were great, good beer, wine & vodka. Would defintiely recommend late night drinks in the new coffee shop, nice air conditioned place and more importantly, away from the mosquito's!!

We did a day out at Dream Beach, very good value for money (about 4 quid each to get in), nice sunbeds, good music & excellent waiter service for food and drinks. We also did 4 island boat trip with Thomson (booked through our rep), lovely boat and excellent staff. The snorkelling was tailored to suit all ages and abilities or if you didn't fancy it, you could just chill out on the boat.

If you fancy a change of scene in the evening then visit senzo mall, a bit hectic but some nice shops and excellent go-kart track just outside (4-5 min walk from hotel).

The hotel beach is fine for what it is, although there is a shuttle bus to and from, it's actually quite a nice walk (10 mins) and there are some shops to do some haggling on the way.

Mosquito's are defintiely a problem at the moment, make sure you take some good quality repelant, you will need it. If you do run out and need more then go to the chemist at Senzo mall, much much cheaper than the chemist at the water park.

As always in Egypt, the airport experience is a bit different, you need to buy an entry visa on arrival but if you follow the instructions you are given then it is fairly easy and quite a quick process.

All in all, a great family holiday in a lovely hotel, just don't expect too much on the food side of things and you won't be dissappointed.

We went there on the 20th October. The resort is great, lots of swimming pools, slides and 2 aquaparks for kids and a large one for adults or children (above 7 years). Well maintained, clean, the staff does a good job in the big aquapark to ensure people use the slides safely. Rooms are large enough and we were happy with the cleaning of our room.

As people tend often to focus on the negative sides, I will try to list some of them although they have to be put in the overall context that overall the hotel is well managed and pleasant:
- The bar staff is extremely unfriendly, sometimes rude, unfortunately you will have to interact with them often
- the cocktails are really awful, alcool generally of very bad quality
- in the evening small electric scooters (where you can stand on it) are available for rent and could be used everywhere in the resort. They go relatively fast and are used randomly by adults or children making very unsafe to walk in the resort. We have two young kids and this was a serious source of stress, every evening and night. This is the main reasons why I believe the resort cannot have more than 3 stars in the rating, the resort managing should not jeopardize the safety of the clients for the sake of few extra euros/USD gained from this activity
- staff offering massage, trip to the desert are pretty efficient in constantly disturbing your quietness when you lie by the pool.
- the beach facility of a sister hotel could be used by using a shuttle. The beach is not great, miles away from nice blue sea seen in the past in Sharm. We went there just once.
- Food is average to OK. Staff would remove the plates immediately even if you are still eating and made the mistake to leave the table for 5 seconds. Extremely annoying. Restaurant staff globally not friendly
