Stayed at this hotel the first 2 weeks of September with 4 friends to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We have been to Egypt 7 times in different locations and this is far the best holiday we have had.The quality of food was excellent and always plenty of choice. We stayed in rooms 8302,8303,and 8203 all over looking the fitness pool they where very roomy and clean no complaints about the rooms what so ever. The staff at the hotel from the gardners to the managers where all very friendly and worked with a smile on there face GERGES who worked in the lagoon bar well what a fantastic guy he is a credit to the hotel. The 3 pools are all kept very clean and there are plenty of sunbeds available a small tip to the pool boy and he will put fresh towels on your bed every day.We had 3 meals out side the hotel at night in the Captains Inn,The Tandoori Indian and the Upstairs Restaurant all quality no complains at all.Try the glass bottom boat trip from the hotel only 2 hours but well worth a trip. The Animation team are the worst i have ever come across on holiday they are lazy and there shows are awful seen better school plays only seen 2 out 14 that was enough. The REP Nobil what a nobhead he his whent to the meeting the next day to ask if free Wi-Fi was avalible at the hotel no you have to use three corners Ocean View untrue free Wi-Fi is at the sunset bar from 5pm (USER NAME guest) (PASSWORD tts) We also ask him if we could use the Ocean View yes but you have to buy your own drinks that was also untrue as we found out from other guest who had been there.Never seen the Rep all 14 days at the hotel or even on the coach back to the airport thank god.
One tip if you book with on the beach make sure you are in Rihana Resort not the Rihana In or it will cost you extra to upgrade.

Room Tip: E-Mail hotel before you go has we did and they will do there best to help out

This is just a quick review following up from the ones Ive done previously to confirm that everything this time was as good as I felt they were before!

I understand the rooms are being refurbished at the moment, with some friends getting a new room which they said was fab, with a super comfy bed. I always liked the beds before but it's good to know the rooms are getting spruced up.

Service is as good as always, a little stretched at the peanuts bar at times but it was busy while we were there.

Just wanted everyone to know how great this place is, and if you go, say hello to animators lamo and marina for me!!

El Gouna's a great concept - really doesn't feel like a chunk carved from the desert ! Not too busy, & generally a Dutch, Belgian, Scandinavian, German crowd; anyone knowing Egypt/Turkey will see a country missing from there which is, frankly, a blessing !
The Three Corners is a very reliable brand of hotel - the Rihana isn't the swankiest, but it's comfortable, clean with 'some' style. Very pleasant pool areas, and the lagoon beach is delightful - you can walk for some distance round the lagoon, and once away from the hotel it's very peaceful. No hassle on beaches or in town where there are plenty of shops and restaurants (Try the El Gouna 'dine around' option for some new views - Marina's lovely for this - and a bit of a saving) . The beach is a free shuttle bus away, & is spacious but lacking atmosphere, unless you like kite-boarding !
Rooms are big, pleasant & functional, not grand; good air-con, shower etc..
Main restaurants serve entirely acceptable, sometimes very pleasant food. Pretty good choice, though things like cold meats/fish are in short supply. Lovely soups, salads, desserts.
In the evening there's far less rush in the smaller restaurant - no problem settling down there for an hour & a half; wouldn't be so easy in the bigger, family restaurant.
Service - most staff, most of the time, make a very good effort to provide friendly service. Compared with the Far East, say, there's occasionally some offhand, surly encounters, but generally that's not so much people trying to be rude as just a different code of behaviour in such countries, which most staff realise their guests will not appreciate.
This is usually billed as a 3 and a half, 4 star hotel, and that's about right. I've had better experiences at similarly priced/rated hotels, but that doesn't in any way mean this one won't provide a most enjoyable stay. It did !

Room Tip: Try to get an 'end' room - much more balcony privacy & general to-ing and fro-ing.

I found that the Hotel was old and tatty, Rooms were spaces but if you are on the ground floor to stop any one looking in you had to keep your curtains closed and your back door closed, at all times. This put the room in near darkness. There for you had no natural light. The Peanuts bar compared to the one at the Ocean view was really poor.Guest relations was well behind in the times. As I myself have been to the three corners hotels 5 times and have a silver card. However I did not recieve an invite to the welcome meeting and only recieved a bowl of fruit once I had spoken to the guest relations. Resturant has no viable air conditioning so you were constantly very uncomfortable when trying to eat. All Staff were very help full but when ever you need something you directed to reiception or guest relations, not really sutible.

spent two weeks here the first two weeks of september and loved it, we arrived late in the evening and was checked in quickly and shown to our room that was very clean ands spacious, we was then provided with a assortments of cold meats cheeses and rolls and fruit, the hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff where friendly helpfull and well mannered, there was a good mix of natationalitys but everybody was very friendly, the animation team worked very hard and tried to get everybody involved without pestering you. The hotel provided free beach towels that could be used at its own lagoon which was literally two minutes from our room, there was no shortage of sun loungers round the pool or lagoon and if you wanted to visit the hotels beach there was a free mini bus that left every hour. The drinks where of a good quality lots of variety most cocktails where included. Food in general was fantastic, great choice and even included ice cream which is rare in alot of other all inc. A great way to get around outside of the hotel is by Tuktuk only costs 5EP each and is lots of fun!! DONT buy currency in england as plenty of atm that take GBP for a much better exchange rate, hope to return next year!!!
PS. look out for Moses the camel!

Room Tip: We was in room 6206 and overlooked the fitness pool, very quiet.
