“Fantastic food and service”
Reviewed June 30, 2012 via mobile

The service and food at this restaurant were the best we experienced on our recent trip to El Gouna. I'm quite a fussy eater and wanted to order a course with a couple of changes to the dish, my request was met positively and the chef delivered. Our only regret was eating here on our last night as we would definitely have returned.

Try it, you won't be disappointed!

“By far the best restaurant in El Gouna”
Reviewed June 15, 2012

We ate here twice during our stay in El Gouna in April this year, on both nights the food and service was outstanding and excellent value for money.
One tip we would give is to book on a weekend night and either take a table inside or if you want to dine outside ask for a table away from the road.
We cannot fault this restaurant from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt that our custom was valued and we were treated with courtesy and respect and not over familiar which is a problem in many restaurants these days.
We ate the chicken liver parfait, lobster bisque - utterly outstanding, pork fillet, stuffed chicken, beef fillets, on our second night we both had dessert the berry tiramisu was devine but the chocolate fondant was really to die for probably the best chocolate fondant i've had the pleasure to eat.
On our second visit we had 3 courses each, 2 bottles of wine, 2 lge bottles of water, large cognac's and coffee's the bill for all of this was just under £100 fabulous value for money, the quality of the furnishings (even outside) really comfortable chairs, immaculate settings and crockery, great atmosphere, high level of service and outstanding quality of food.
We still talk about our evenings there and already on our places to eat list when we return to El Gouna next April.

This is the only fine dining spot in El Gouna with reasonable prices, consistent quality, excellent service and a large wine selection.
Great evening.

“Well...”
Reviewed June 9, 2012

What can we say, when me and my GF arrived there we met the waiter Mohamed with his smile, he put that smile on us and we kept it during our dinner at Upstairs. I had a nice starter with Haloumi cheese and my GF a starter with salmon, both beautiful presented. Main course was for both of us their duck, perfect and ended up with Creme Brûlée, what more can we ask for...
