“A little part of France by the Red Sea”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

It was a busy Friday evening at Abu Rig Marina and we were undecided about where to eat, and picked Le Deauville as it looked classy and the food we saw being served looked great.

The chicken livers starter I had was beautiful, and my fillet steak cooked rare was outstanding. My daughter enjoyed her lamb cutlets but moaned that there want enough meat on them (when is there ever?!)

Profiteroles for dessert were great and the coffees were really high quality.

Overall. A very enjoyable meal with high quality food. The French maitresse D was great, but here's a little tip for the waiters - smile a bit, you won't believe how much more enjoyable your evening might be, as will that of your customers!

“Bad Service”
Reviewed April 16, 2014 via mobile

It took them 2 hours to serve the food (maybe because we were more than 15 people). I ordered medium beef filet and however it was served well done. The appetizer was nice, which was chicken liver. What was a shock is that the owner asked us directly to tip the waiters. She is extremely arrogant and not welcoming. Bad experience overall. Don't visit if u are a large group.

“Horrible”
Reviewed April 16, 2014 via mobile

We were a group of 19 people.. After waiting for 1 hour and a half for the food.. and enduring the bad treatment of the owner and the waiters.. All the food was overcooked and the orders were wrong.. The owner was punishing us for initially making a reservation for 3 tables and then canceling one.. She was very angry and rude to us and she told us EXPLICITLY to pay a large tip for the waiters (who were arrogant and bossy)!!! Don't be fooled by the good menu selection.. I have to admit that the chevre salad was good and the beef (only for the ones that were cooked right) was very good.. It's a pity!
