This is a top recommendation!
Eat lobster and Red Sea Fish. We did that Wednesday and we came back Thursday because it is so very delicious, incredible!!!
It is the target of El Sayadin' s team to make their guests happy and they work with passion!
Enjoy the excellent and friendly service from Mohammed and the other waiters and the awesome seafood made on a real BBQ grill. And be fascinated by the scenic view and by the Moon rising up out of the sea having your dinner on the open terrace.
Just great!!!
We love it.
Both times we were really thrilled by the combination of sensual eating and the atmosphere!!

If you are staying at the Movenpick hotel be sure o have lunch or dinner at El Saydin. The views of the different shades of blue and turquoise sea will blow you away. We always have a selection of meze for lunch and usually an iced mint or hibiscus tea and sit taking it all in. The service is discreet and the food really good. If you are staying in a villa or apartment, a day at the Movenpicks beautiful lagoon and beach and lunch at El Saydin are a real treat.

Went in the evening so cannot comment on the surroundings as it was dark but we went for the food and we was not disappointed. The kitchen is part of the restaurant and this enabled us to see the array of seafood passing through and this added to our experience. We had the biggest ever tempura prawns for starters with a dip with a kick, absolutely devine. We enjoyed both sea bass and lobster for main and was wonderful and plentiful. Service was fun and friendly and made it an overall very mouthwatering experience. Definately our best meal in El Gouna.

We were staying at the Movenpick and chose this restaurant for my 50th birthday celebration. It was lobster buffet night.

As they knew it was for my birthday we were given a lovely table inside which was beautifully decorated.

The buffet starts with Egyptian/Arabian meze type dips and breads. You're then asked to choose what you want from the fish counter and the chef will cook to order - the choices are lobster, prawns, red snapper, white fish and calamari. You also help yourself to potatoes, rice, vegetables, sauces, etc.

The fish was cooked perfectly and served up very quickly. You're able to go up a couple of times or more for fish.

The dessert is Egyptian pastries and when they were bringing them to the table, they dimmed the lights. We thought it was a power cut but they sang happy birthday and lit a candle in the pastries. It was a lovely touch.

The wine list was the best we saw in El Gouna with local and international choices.

The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.

There was a flute player providing background music and she was very good.

It was a perfect birthday meal and I'd recommend the restaurant and the lobster buffet evening to anyone going to El Gouna. It may not be the cheapest meal but it was certainly worth it.

We have a little dive club in El Gouna for residents and always looking for new experiences for our social events. We are all familiar with El Sayadin and usually visit the restaurant on special occasions as the hotel prices are too high for us residents. Due to the stunning location we agreed to hold our Christmas luncheon party there on 20.12.2012 for a group of 15 of us. We agreed the price beforehand and the menu of hot and cold mezzas, seafood platter and fresh fruit and ice cream.

We arrived at 1pm and were greeted with a complimentary glass of Le Baron champagne (produced in the winery in town). The table setting was stunning! The waiters had spent a long time paying special attention to all the detail with fresh flowers, nets, marine decorations and place settings. It really set the mood and with the warm, winter sunshine, beautiful views over the Red Sea and Christmas hats we had a wonderful party. There were no other guests so we had excellent service from our waiters Mohamed and Assem and the chef cooked the fish to perfection.

It is nice to be surprised when you have lived in El Gouna for ten years :-)
