This restaurant has got to have the best location out of all the restaurants in El Gouna - on a terrace overlooking the sea. It is above the dive centre at the Movenpick Hotel, and is very romantic at night.

There were 6 of us (4 adults and 2 children). We have eaten in the evening here on previous visits to El Gouna, but this time just had a couple of lunches. We were very extravagant on one occasion and had fresh red sea prawns (huge) which cost 65LE per 100g. We had twelve of them, which were absolutely delicious, along with a selection of starters, fries and mini burgers for the children. With 8 bottles of beer, the bill came to 900 LE - definitely extravagant for lunch but hey we were on holiday!!

There are quite a few options for light bites for lunch, and it's nice to be able to drink out of a glass (some of the other places for lunch in the Movenpick are near swimming pools, so understandably the drinking vessels are all plastic). I would definitely recommend the tempura prawns - yum!!

Whent to eat while our daughter was by a babysitter, and for the first adult time in ages it was great.

We came early and since there were not so many guest at the hotel (or in el gouna), there where only a few other guests and we had a nice table. The view was not as beautiful as we could have hoped for, but it was nice to look out over the black waters.

The waiters was very attentive at first, but as more guests arrived they came around with less frequency.

The food was fine, though the appetizer with duck would gain from less duck and more e.g.. fresh cucumber. As main dishes I has mezes and my partner had the fish platter - very nice.

In total we paid 750 punds, and almost half of that was a bottle of wine.

One thing to be said is that they removed the wine card, before we where able to have a look at it, and then brought international wines, when we wanted a bottle of wine. The wine we selected was in our taste, but a bit stange none the less.

Couldn't possibly rate a restaurant terrible where the waiter makes you taste your San Pellegrino before pouring a full glass. Sweet approach, but no - they don't get there. However, the setting is lovely, right by the sea.
