We stayed for a week in Daniela while diving at the Daniele Dive Center. The hotel has a great location (between Dahab and the Blue Hole) directly on the beach and the Sinai in the back. For those who want all luxery this might be the wrong place, as this is a small hotel with adequate but basic facilities in a quiet surrounding. The food (bufet) was great and different each day. The staff is very friendly and provide personal service.

We found the dive center within the hotel great. The people were very friendly and helpfull, but also knowledgable and experienced. The rental equipment was in fine condition.

Highly recommended!

Room Tip: If you don't like cats, ask a room upstairs (as the cats do not have access to the balconies).

Just got back from our 1 week stay at Daniella and I can sum it up as excellent!
The hotel fitted our needs perfectly as we like to stay in small hotels and do a lot of diving. The hotels is well laid out and is well run by friendly and caring staff.
The rooms are spacious and clean and they all look out over the reef and sea which is a bonus.
The food was excellent and whilst the variety is not on the same scale as a large hotel it was presented well and cooked perfectly which is more important.
*****Top tip don't miss the tahini and baba ganush it's to die for*****.
As for the Daniella dive centre at the hotel what can I say it is the best I have dived with. The attention to detail and customer care was fantastic and as for the dive guides, Mohammed and mohammed, they were brilliant.
The diving was great and I highly recommend the camel dive safari up to Abu Galum, it is well worth the trip and the diving and scenery is beautiful. However don't forget the house reef as it is a real gem.
The hotel also runs many non dive trips and whilst we only went on 1 trip during our stay the price was very good value for money and there was a good opportunity to get to see the real Sinai and it's people.

All in all the hotel and dive centre get a 5 out of 5, for level of service, friendliness of staff, location and value for money. Will definitely return.

Room Tip: During winter the winds can be quite cold so to get the best shelter from the NE winds those rooms facing south towards Dahab are the ones to go for

Pros - We came here because we were looking for a nice facility outside town with shore snorkeling. Daniella Village Dahab did not disappoint. Reef was excellent and they have their own dive shop. The location and setting were perfect - very cool desert vibe. I like that they don't waste water on craziness like grass lawns - just a few dessert plants here and there. A few minutes drive outside of town, one can also walk or easily bike. I am pretty sure there was a nightly shuttle into town. The entire staff was super helpful and friendly. Quiet and peaceful at night. Super impressed that the multilingual owner did not litter his cigarette butts and hired some local Bedu. The included breakfast was a delicious daily feast. When I strained some muscles horseback riding, the front desk had some muscle ache cream to use at no charge.

Cons - The place is a little run down around the edges, but nothing that seriously impacted our stay. The balcony door sticks, but you learn how to jiggle it. The shower stall leaked onto bathroom floor, but I ordered more towels from the front desk and just wiped it up. Its not a five star hotel, so despite relatively high costs we should not have five star expectations.

No free Wi-fi - I would have much rather had free wifi in my room than the TV with only one English channel. The front desk did have a USB data stick to use in the room. Of course, the hourly charge was much greater than any internet cafes in town.

Yes, the bar, internet and non-included meals were pricey, but that is unfortunately common place at isolated resorts. The pool was unheated. so its only usable during warm months. The owner talked about one day setting up solar heating for the pool - I hope they do that soon. CATS - I was hoping that by getting away from town there would be no cats. There are sill cats climbing on furniture and hassling you if eating outdoors. Bring a spray bottle if this bothers you.

Overall, our stay was awesome and I highly recommend this establishment.

Spent a week at this small hotel with my husband and teenage daughter. Staff could not have been more heloful. Food excellent, we are all vegetarian and there was at least 1 vegetarian dish on offer every mealtime, usually a lot more.
Staff at diving centre were great too.
Great location, spacious rooms and lovely grounds. Great snorkelling in the sea right at the hotel
Perfect place to relax, swim, dive, chill etc. Can't wait to go back!

The hotel is good.
Rooms are clean, food is great and people are very friendly.

The diving was even better!
We did a three day safari to the beduines on the camels, a boat-dive and a few dives per jeep. De guides were very friendly, relaxed but also always on time. We had a great time.
