It is difficult to decide where to eat in Dahab as there are many places trying their hardest to get you in. Ali Baba did not try too hard and so we decided to eat there. Good choice! The service was very attentive and professional, the food was excellent and good value and the venue was lovely, right next to the sea. It was so good, we went there again during our stay!

Somehow we have never got around to trying this popular restaurant on previous holidays but we are glad we did. All of the staff are most friendly and unusually in Dahab not a big cat problem. As with most Dahab seafront places you get complimentary bread and dips before your main course. We both chose local dishes and I can really recommend the Lamb Fattah - a delicious meal of braised lamb with rice, tomatoes and chickpeas served over bread with a piquant sauce. This was followed by complimentary pancakes and bedouin tea. All for about £25.

Good service, good food, good price. Most restaurants along the strip you'll try once during your stay, we went back to this twice more... very good.

Really nice traditional restaurant, that had a good range of very tasty food and it had a good atmosphere, with friendly and helpful staff. Alcohol is not served in this restaurant, but they are very happy for you to take your own alcohol into the restaurant, which they will keep cool and will serve to you. Worth a visit.
