We had a perfect stay in Shams. Eeveryday breakfasts at 8 on pillows in a restaurant on the shore watching the sun comes up. Atmosphere of peace and relax.10 minutes by car to Lagoon and the same to Light House.

Since I dive with Shams Dive Center it was obvious to stay at Shams Hotel also. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and clean with nice beds. Also my room had a nice balcony where I could sit in the evening watching the sun go down into the Red Sea. Also the restaurant is good and is located on the beach just next to the water. Not only did I eat my breakfast and other meals there but also spend time smoking a good shisha and drinking Bedouin tea and just chilling after diving. I can also highly recommend this place and the diving Center as well.

Spwnt 7 days there, I enjoyed a really friendly amd helpful staff, the roms are very clean and basic very suitable for a relaxing vacation.
Breakfast is really tasty and fulfilling, I would say veriatie were more than enough for. You just have to watch out from the cats there, they can jump on your food like all the places n dahab I guess
Yet the staff knows how to deal with them and most of the time they will go away if you hush them off:)

I love this place, very warm and welcoming. Being at the center of touristic dahab makes the hotel in a superb location. Rooms are neat and simple with enough space. and right there on the corner, lies one the most professional diving centers in Dahab with an amazing crew. And two away from your room and just in front of the hotel's beach entrance, you will find shams restaurant with their amazing crew and delicious food. Simply, you might not need to go anywhere else..may be except to the sea, so you can scuba dive :)

I stayed in hut-like rooms and I like the experience.. the ceiling is woody and hut-like shape.. The balcony is cozy and relaxing you will spend good times in it indeed.
The room was clean and also the bathroom however they are small.
Bathrooms does not contains any cosmetics. Bring your own!
AC performance is great. I asked for a refrigerator and they bring it to me because they told me refrigerators are less than the number of rooms.
I didn't really need the service because I didn't really need their help, but I can they the service is average.
No payments with credit cards, which I was really in need to pay with my card.
It's quite near to the center and the market.
The price rate is not really cheap compared to Dahab hotels and camps, above average but it's acceptable.
There is a cafe and restaurant by see side and the hotel has a Diving center and you can rent a bicycle.
I can say I would like to stay in Shams again, I like it and I liked the experience.

Shams was so friendly and every one was more than helpful. A real relaxing holiday.Rooms where clean and the guys who cleaned the rooms made a good job too. The public toilets could have been a little cleaner though.The location is fab, very close to the sea and you can hear the waves to wake up to. Thanks Shams.
Room tip: Upstairs rooms on the south wing are great for views but north wing gets the sun.
