I went to the Blue Hole by jeep and my driver George was very helpful and friendly, the rest of the family went by Quad Bikes. We went with King Safari Tours, who are very helpful and we have been happy with them for two years running, good value for money. We found that the snorkelling was a bit disappointing after the Eel Garden. It may be because it was cloudy, but we did not feel it had as many fish, though we did here someone say they could see sea horses. Once again the people are very helpful and you can leave you stuff with out any worries in the restaurant, wehad our meal at the Titanic highly recommended, we had fresh fish in batter, this came with the usual chips veg and rice on a separate plate..
For two Egyptian pounds (20pence) you can have a shower or use the toilets that are looked after with pride, pictures and vases of plastic flowers inside and a red carpet up-to the toilet

We arranged a day trip to blue hole through our hotel. We got a lift there and back and the price was excellent. The experience was fantastic! Having never snorkelled before I was a little nervous but it was amazing! Not something we'll ever forget. We could go in and out of the water as we pleased, leaving our things at the cafe/restaurant we were dropped at. We also got some lunch there which was good and had a couple of drinks. Overall an incredible experience and highly recommended. Simply beautiful!

We were taken by car half way to the Blue Hole from Dahab early morning, there we met a cameral for an hours onward journey to the Blue Hole dive sight. A popular dive is 'Bells to Blue Hole'. - you enter the water at the Bells, a 20 meter drop straight down through rock, when in the water you hear tanks knocking on the rocks making a bells noise. The Bells is a drift dive which takes you to the entrance of the blue hole. A magnificent opening to the sea, a ledge full of hard corals and fish. Highly recommended, may skip the camel next time but would definitely dive there again.

The most amazing spots of Egypt to have a good snorkeling time. You'd miss a lot if you're in Dahab and still didn't pass by the Blue Hole!
