Sangria! I love ! Hear not so much. My urine has more etoh content. After that and the very very expensive food menu I decided to leave. Especially after seeing the reviews. Has wifi. But go elsewhere you wont be dissappointed

We thought we would treat ourselves to a nice meal and found this cool looking restaurant with the shape of a ship. Looked nice...but we were wrong. The service was awful. The waitor did not want to take the dirty sauce dish off our table but reluctantly did. When we asked to see the bottle of the house wine, the waiter said no. We should have trusted our intuition then, but didn't. We ordered our food which we were told came with "salad" , which turned out to be two sickly looking pieces of tomatoe and some sliced onion. The rest of the meal was not great but edible. The bill was huge, three times more than we could get the same meal for elsewhere. Unless you want to eat in a pretty boat, save your money.

the building itself is interesting as it's completely made of wood in the shape of a boat in a country where practically everything is made of concrete. The food was okay, nothing special. The prices are very high for the type of food and for Ecuador.

This restaurant draws you in because it looks like a ship from the outside and sits on the Malacon of Salinas. But the food prices are extremely high for Ecuador and the food is very so so. I ordered ceviche and nothing comes with it, except the bowl of ceviche. Then about half way through eating the ceviche, they brought me popcorn to put in it. Woo hoo! Down the street a bit farther you can get a bowl of ceviche for less money and comes with patacones, etc. This was our MOST expensive meal and we only got a bowl of ceviche, a small salad plate size of shrimp in garlic (ONLY shrimp, nothing else....rice, etc... NOTHING!) the popcorn, as an afterthought, 2 waters with gas and our bill was almost $30. Unheard of in Ecuador!
*one good point, our waitor was nice.
*one funny point: a lady peered into the restaurant, which is open air, and asked if we spoke English. She wanted to know the directions to another highly rated bar/restaurant down the street.

Food not terrible but my nominee for the most overpriced on the Malecon. The cool boat look and view get people in. Don't think they depend on repeat customers.
