“Is like a Farm”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

I thought I would see here the Turtles in their natural habitat, but no. They are in pens, so you cannot be near them. Is good to know this place just as general culture, but it was not the place to see turtles as I wanted.

“Educational value”

Learning more about the eco species of the Galapagos along with seeing the different types of tortoises on the various islands made for a most enjoyable morning.

“Giant Tortoises”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

The guides are great. Loved the giant tortoises and the program to protect them. All of the islands are pristine and well-cared for. They deserve the respect they receive from visitors to this very special archipelago.

Great info, well organised, and amazing turtles to see.

“Not worth the visit”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

You get information about tortoises and iguanas but it's not worth the visit. However I respect the efforts secientists make to care for the animals. If you would like to see typical Galapagos animals go elsewhere where there is a better chance to see them in the wild. If you want to get information on hatching tortoises and so on it's a good place to visit.
