The food was exceptional. The place is small, and packed for dinner. When we were in Pt Ayora, the restaurant was not opening until 4PM. We arrived at about 7PM, were asked to give our name for next available table which was in 30 min. There was no place to sit for a drink to wait. When we returned, tables had been turned and there still was not a table for us (there were 4 of us). We were told to wait 10 more minutes (an Ecuadorian 10 minutes is equal to 20-30 min in North America). We waited, and finally were given a table for 4 that had been idle with a reserved sign on it (from the moment we entered the restaurant). Quite confusing and not well orchestrated. Was the food worth the wait? Definitely yes. But if you are really hungry or do not enjoy late night dining, find another place with better organization.
