Just back from waterfront. Handy to pier, shopping strip, restaurants and clubs. Upstairs rooms have balconies - lovely to hear ocean close by. Indoor pool on lobby near dining area. Breakfast is basic. Cereal, bread (no toast), feta cheese, processed meat, boiled egg or omelette.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and really enjoyed my stay. It is close to everything. It is quiet as off the main street and the staff is very friendly, especially front desk agent Louisa. Breakfast is a generous enough and in a very pleasant dining room. Bathrooms are incredible spacious. As is typical in the Galapagos, you need to wait at least 10 minutes to get the hot water to come out of the shower faucet. It was nice to have purified water at our disposal 24 hours a day to refill our water bottle. Thanks for a great stay!

Room Tip: Great hotel if you are going to Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz, Galapagos Islands.

We stayed here as part of our organized tour. The breakfast was great, location is excellent, good rooms with got water and a beautiful balcony area overlooking the entire bay. I was overall happy with the hotel despite the fact that there was no water in the morning (problem with the water system but luckily we checked out early) and the staff speak minimal English. I have however seen how much it costs per night and based on this is think it is over priced.

We had the most incredible time in the Galapagos! We learned a lot about the wildlife, history, and conservation efforts before we went and I think that it made going there much more special. Our trip was planned out by Galapagosbest.com and they were incredible! They planned everything so that our trip ran smoothly. They planned our trip perfectly so that e got to see so much, learned a ton, but also got to enjoy and relax. Everything was fantastic and I highly recommend visiting the Galapagos. We lived on a boat but I think there are hotels on certain islands if you would rather that. One thing I suggest is that you learn about it before you travel there Everything becomes much more meaningful once you understand how it all came about.

I stayed here in july. The room was clean and an of end of corridor room so spacious. Unfortunately next to lots of rooms with up to 3 beds in. It was school holidays in Ecaudor and the hotel was packed with up to 60 kids, screaming, running around wet from the pool up to there rooms, when they all checked out I had breakfast on my own with 2 other people no queing up that day for food like at school !!!! then other group checked in that day. The teachers /leaders where obviously sleeping on different floors and when the kids returned from a car-train ride around town at about 11:30 they were up again a t 5! A real no go. An argentian friend complained about the kids and noise and was told "do in your country as you like but we do what we like here!" I spent my last night elsewhere and will post a great review for that family run hotel.

This hotel is in a excellent location near the center of town on Santa Cruz island and it is also two blocks away from Puerto Ayora which is main port on the island from which all the excursions take place. There is a nice roof top are from which you can see the entire port and it makes for a nice place to hang out in the evenings and at night. In order to get to the rooftop one must climb up some spiral stairs which are extremely narrow and borderline dangerous towards the middle. Although the location is awesome it comes with a wretched sewage smell that seems to be there 80% of the time. Something that one shouldn't have to deal with when paying a pretty penny in the Galapagos.
The Breakfast was decent and there is always coffee available throughout the day. The water in the rooms is hot which can be hard to come across but the wifi does not work anywhere in the hotel besides the lobby. The decor is relatively nice including two pools which I never saw anyone use. The layout of the hotel leaves something to be desires but overall the hotel stay and staff were average, but once again the price is above average.

The location of this hotel is perfect, situation right in town and next to the water-taxi port. I enjoyed my stay, although the breakfast was average. There is a beautiful top floor that overlooks Santa Cruz and there are many good restaurants around this location.
