Wow!! Kicker Rock was the best snorkelling experience I have ever had. Ignoring the slight frigidity of the water, my group and I saw amazing things. Massive schools of fish, sea turtles, eagle rays, Galapagos sharks, and ever hammerhead sharks!!

“our best day trip with the gide Wiliam”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

the gide was great with lots of knowlege----he didn't know English and still showed us so many beautiful things with great respect and love for nature. It was the only snorkling trip we had a good gide that joined us into the water and took care of us!!!!!!!! The water was colder then we expected...

“Amazing Experience!”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

Of our 4 snorkels through the Galapagos, this was hands down our favorite. There is something incredible about swimming so close to the wildlife. Watching the sharks, turtles, fish and coral co-exist (and accept us into the world for a brief time) was breathtaking. I'll never forget it!

“Best snorkeling in the Galapagos”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

For my group, snorkeling at Leon Dormido (Kicker Rock) on July 7, 2012 was the best we experienced during our nine days in four islands of the Galapagos.

While snorkeling along the rocks and through its passage, we encountered numerous turtles, 3 hammerhead sharks, a school of 15 - 20 spotted eagle rays, a school of 8 - 10 porcupinefish, and numerous reef sharks circling a large, loose bait ball of smaller fish.

“Best place to see hammerhead sharks”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

We did a half-day snorkling tour from Isla San Cristobal -- joining about 6 others who were a mix of scuba divers and snorklers. The first stop was snorkling at Isla Lobi, which was okay but not hat exciting. The main attraction was Kicker Rock, especially the main channel between the rocks, where we saw Galapagos Sharks, giant sea turtles, and Hammerhead Sharks. Our guide was very excited, apparently it is rare for snorklers to see Hammerheads. The final stop at a sandy beach was also okay but the wind was up and the blowing sand made relaxing rather difficult.
