“Great Food but be Patient”

We booked for a group of 12 at 7pm but only thanks to a local being there that could speak English and translate for us!

The menus do include English versions but our ordered drinks (beer, red wine and two piña coladas took around 20mins before they turned up - piña coladas first)!

They did seem to have an issue of being short staffed and the person serving drinks was on their first night, but the lack of English speaking staff made things difficult... Fortunately a customer there (a local who catches fish for them) helped translate but I think we disrupted his evening a lot by doing that!

Still, the food was excellent! We mostly had seafood as recommended by them, tuna and wahoo were the fresh fish and what looked to be spanish lobster. The cerviche was also good!

Wine is just a choice of white or red and expensive at $35 USD but good quality... the piña coladas were great and the rum and coke was very generous on the rum.

All in all a good night with great food but not enough staff and the lack of English (and our lack of Spanish) speaking people made it slow and a bit frustrating. Still would recommend as the 2nd best place to have dinner in San Cristobel.

Acceptable but average food, a bit overpriced. Not terrible but not good. Service was excellent. The great Trip advisor ratings do not make sense in this case and we are not what you would call fussy. We found the food on the Galapagos (Santa Cruz, Isabela, Cristobal) in general to be pretty average - sometimes we would even dread meals because we just didn't know where we could go. Come for the wildlife, but don't expect to eat overly well while you're there.

This is a really great place in San Cristobal. The food is slightly more expensive but worth it. Service was good and food was simple and really well cooked.

Great little spot for a cheap lunch or dinner set meal. We came here for dinner and had the set menu for $5 each (cheapest you are going to find!). It's basic but good is super fresh and delicious. We had a vegetable, cheese and pasta soup for starter then a roasted chicken leg in an orange and herb sauce served with rice. Freshly squeezed orange juice also included.

We had lunch there (set menu) where we had chicken, vegetable and pasta soup for starter. We had a choice for main, I had beef strips, rice and salad. My sister had prawns in a curry sauce with rice and salad. Freshly squeezed passionfruit juice included. $4.50 each for lunch.

Staff can't speak English but menus are in English. Very quick and friendly service. Bargain price and fresh delicious food!
