My stay was wonderful and the large number of hammocks in a relaxing setting made my stay that much better! Strong wifi and nice showers compared to other galapagos hotels. My room was clean with air conditioners and ceiling mounted fans. The owner Laura lives there too and was kind and available to answer any questions. No breakfast available on site but there are tons of inexpensive restaurants along the water.

Room Tip: All rooms were great. I stayed in 11- first floor quiet location

This place was a real pearl! The rooms were big, clean and with well functioning wi-fi. The shower was good for being on Galápagos Islands. The little "garden" was nice to spend some time in and also good to have a fridge where you can put food and drinks. Laura was super friendly and very nice!

This place feels very much like home, it has a great porch to relax on - with nice hammocks and great wi-fi. Free drinkable water available and hosts who will help you with anything.

The rooms are decent sized and beds are comfy. We had some slight issues with the plugs (in that the most convenient one didn't work but was not an issue). The showers are electric which may seem scary but you have to remember where you are and remember it is not easy to get hot clean water here and so using electricity to heat it makes sense. Just be careful as you may get a slight shock if you get too close. Also be careful not to break things as you will have to pay!! There is a list of prices very visible in the room for breaking various things. We found it amusing to see and ponder the prices but if you're just sleeping here shouldn't be an issue. I think it is mostly that they want to keep it family friendly.
Location is great away from all the restaurants and stuff so its quiet but just a 5-10 minute walk to the "center" of town.

Breakfast is not included but that is not a problem.
Overall a great place to stay with nice people!!

Even if our room was not yet prepared upon arrival and not the cleanest after a quick cleaning (the ants seemed to help little; maybe they were only there because of the prior guest yet), we spent four lovely days in this excellent hostal. The location, the tidy and well-kept garden/paradise and the apartment (not a mere room!) were great and Laura and her husband did their best to help us whenever needed (even when the toilet was blocked at 10pm). Free (cold AND tea) water, good WiFi, cozy porch with hangmats, PCs in the lounge etc. were additional reasons why we would definitely stay there again!

It was a great pleasure to stay in Casa de Laura! Laura and her family was very nice and helpful! The room was clean and big with hot water, fridge, air-condition - all you need for comfortable stay. Patio in the Casa is very charming! There is wi-fi available. I would highly recommend this place to stay, but book in advance, they almost always have a people, which is also a good sign.
