Who would have guessed I would be visiting my second giant Jesus statue? This one is not as big as the one in Rio and you have to get to the top under your own steam (500 steps up, in the morning heat, phew!) but it's still pretty impressive. There are stations of the cross to pass on the way up and the view is lovely - beautiful beaches with nobody on them, clear waters, ships in the harbour. Unfortunately both sets of toilets on the way up were locked due to a pump problem, but apparently it is being worked on.
