The tais market in Dili is well worth a visit. There are many stalls selling a wonderful variety of tais, from all around Timor Leste. With each area having its own patterns and colours and with a mix of tradional dye and modern colours this is a vibrant colourful experience. Women are weaving as you walk around and seeing this is worth a visit alone.

Beautiul tais and very nice sellers. Not pushy at all. You can see women weaving tis and little kids wandering around tsusprice are not over exaggerated. Highly recommended.

I wondered through here on a Friday evening. Found the vendors not to be too pushy which was nice. shops are nicely arranged in a small complex.

I had a great time at the Tais Market. I liked the variety. I left an item, containing a large amount of cash in one of the stalls and had it returned to me. Touched by the honesty and would definitely recommend a visit!

Fantastic range of Tais at very competitive prices. You should go with a local who can speak the local language to ensure that you are not paying above average prices for tais.
