Food is delicious.
You may also buy some genuine and tasty Istrian cured meat products.
The staff is kind and friendly.
The space is a bit cramped.

Well it may be a house of proschuto but if it is a house of proschuto you will need to buy some of it for offering it to people. Sandwich was so bad i was not even able to eat it. The location is nice and the whole shop has a potential but the food is just bad.

As a tourist I do not speak croatian, after waiting 10 minutes to be noticed the guy who came to our table could not speak almost any english, german or italian, so it was pretty hard to comunicate with guy. Also the menu is in croatian so it is hard to decide what do you want, any request was ignored by the guy afterwards because he didnt understand anything. Food was ok

Since I heard via Facebook for a house of Istrian prosciutto I could not wait to come to Rijeka to go there. It's a beautiful place that unites an lovable shop of Istrian delicacies, cookies and a very coosy small restaurant where ham hangs over your head. You have the feeling to be somewhere in Italy, drinking excellent house wine and eating hand sliced baked ham (we had that for a starter with a horse radish sauce). The menu is excellent and so alluring that we could not decide what to order, at the end we decided for a home made tipically Istrian pasta called "Pljukanci" with paprika and sausages in a tomatoe sauce and a delicious dish of baked potatoes with sausages in wine sauce. They have a great selection of wine by the glass too, we opted this time for a great cabernet sauvignon & Merlot house wine, that wine is so good that calls for more.
You can go around the shoop meanwhile you wait for your food and buy some bulk virgin olive oil (great thing), prosciutto or cookies. We had the cookies this time and some istrian sausagges. The waiter is a top, I give gim an +10, he was so professional, unobtrusive, friendly and with very good advices.
As that day was cloudy we seat inside, at the end of aour meal the sky cleared so we drank an extra glass of wine on the terrace along the waterfront and just enjoyed.
Higly recomend this place as the value for money is great...Whish for more simmilar places in Croatia.
