“Very good”
Reviewed February 2, 2012

Food and service are really good, but something is missing. "Plavi podrum" which is just few steps away and also "high class, slow food" place is better choice. Maybe because of the atmosphere.
I can't say anything bad about food. It's really tasting great and looks great. Price was also ok, but it's missing the WOW factor.

“Possibly the best food in Croatia”
Reviewed October 31, 2011

We were astonished! We expected food to be great and our expectations were greatly exceeded!

We've had a large tasting menu and each plate was a masterpiece of its own. Beautiful presentation, perfect taste combination, a great variety of techniques... It was so good...

Ambient is also nice and stuff is very helpful and discreet.

Food is expensive, but, it was a very good value for money.

The only thing that lacked were customers. In four hours, we were the only ones there. What a shame...

“Now the best in Opatia”
Reviewed August 21, 2011

very good food, athmosphere and service, both choice for fish and meat, both at very high level. good desert, even if not at the same level as starters and main courses. only weak point the menu doesn't offer a big choice but it's sophisticated . it worst it to try! service on a good level, tables available outside (covered) and inside. we really enjoyed it, and we suggest everyone to try!

“Supreme modern cuisine in a lousy ambient”
Reviewed June 28, 2011

This is one of the hottest restaurants in the region, and deservedly so! Situated in a small port of Volosko, there is a lot of local ambient around, but not in the restaurant itself. The furniture is plastic and beaten-up, and the service is far beyond the quality of the dining experience. The owner and master chef, Zembo, is one of the brightest stars at the gastronomic scene today. You must try his “new fritaja (scrambled eggs)” or some other examples of his interpretation of modern kitchen with local recipes and ingredients. The price is pretty high, but this is the dining experience you should have once in a while.
