The location is brillant. I have eaten here and had delightful food and enjoyed lovely sunsets. However I have also eaten here and been rushed from the table by rude wat staff.

The fish and chips is generally good but the last time I was here the fried fish was cold and tastless. It was not the quality fish that I have had here in the past.

The appitizer Chicken wings were so heavy on the salt that even a salt lover like me couldn't eat them. The Gorgonzola Salad was OK but only ordinary (doesn't it annoy you off when the salads are lackluster?)

All in all the place which opened in 2008 and everyone loved, is struggling. The food has gone downhill and seems more packaged and processed, the staff seems to have a quick turnover, and the place just seems dirty and shop worn.

This is a place that I have been to many times and my repeat business was due to the high standards and decent food in the start.

I think what happened is that they tried to attract a late night drinking crowd and ended up splitting their focus. Thus not doing either well, falling down on both the bayside good food and the late night drinkery.

Call Robert Irvine for help!!! Menus were dirty, the restaurant smells musty and the food comes out of cans and containers! The salsa is not homemade, the guacamole is not home made, the pasta for the chicken Francaise is swimming in sauce. The Mahi Mahi was good but the roll was stale and the tarter sauce was awful. The drinks, the view and the service were the only positives. The $70 could have been spent at a better restaurant in the Highlands!!!

This is a friendly looking place with a nice view~went there after lunch and before dinner time for coffee and cake to try it out. After we were seated in the empty outdoor area, we ordered coffee, icecream and cake. Waitress said "Oh, you'll have to move to the bar, if it gets busy". EXCUSE ME? We were with an 86 year old couple who topple off barstools and there was no one there eating dinner then-just waitresses standing around. Our bill was also a bit pricey for what was ordered. Cheesecake was just OK. Staff just has to be taught some manners.

Delicious Sangria, awesome food, literally ON the deck with a beautiful view! Their nachos are fantastic, and their fried calamari are perfectly done.

I had a hamburger there, along with their homemade chips. The chips are actually pretty bad. They should have just given us some Utz chips instead. The hamburger was pretty good and the deck is nice. We ate outside and there is a covered and non-covered sections to sit which was nice as well. Bathrooms were nothing special. Service was good. Parking was a bit of an issue since I think nearby lots are used for other things as well.

Another thing is that the view is of the marina and Sandy Hook National Park. You can see the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge bridge, off to the north, If you want to know what else you are looking at, bring a map.
