The rooms were big, clean and the bed was so comfortably, we had everything we needed for the night. The staff was friendly and helpful with everything. The Blue Martini turned in to a Latin club with a DJ playing all latino music and speaking spanish Saturday night..thought it was a Jazz club with the theme of the place. There were way to many people coming and going thought the hotel/casnio going to the beach and boardwalk...children, strollers, beach stuff, people in bathing suites and not to mention dripping wet sandy people...gross!!

Over an hour to check in and then had to wait 5 hrs. for my room in the Denis Hotel which smelled, was filthy and was absolutely the worst room I have ever had in Atlantic City. The rug was so dirty & sticky that you couldn't walk barefoot in the room without sticking to the rug. The rags in my home that I use to clean were better than the towels that were there & the shower/tub area was gross.

We have been members of Total Rewards - Bally's rewards program - for about 10 years. In March we stayed at Bally's in Las Vegas for 5 days and lost money. In April we lost money at Bally's in New Orleans. So this month went we wanted to stay at Bally's in AC they wouldn't give us a break on a room - even after speaking w/a manager. We can stay at the Borgata for the same price - at a newer/nicer hotel.
They have lost us as customers.
Good luck, Bally's, if you treat all of your customers like this.

if you're on a budget, you should probably try the 6ix a bistro restaurant. it depends on how many people are in your party. if you're with 1-3 people, you should try those nice restaurants there like arturo's for example. but if you're traveling with a family of 4+, then you should try the 6ix a bistro. but its not a perfect place. i went there recently and had to wait about 30 mins for breakfast.its really busy there, especially in the mornings and afternoons. so be prepared to wait!!! but the food was good and not pricey at all!!! it also has a loud atmosphere, so dont go here if you want a nice, quiet dinner. i hope i helped and feel free to ask any questions. :)

We booked rooms in the beautiful Bally's hotel, but got tired old rooms in the Claridge. Why? Was Bally's full? If so, why not tell us and let us decide if we want to stay there? A guest was in the Claridge lobby fuming about the same thing. She refused to stay at the Claridge, cancelled her room and went to another hotel.
Housekeeping was awful. Had to call for fresh towels every day. Once I was in the room when housekeeping came. No towels, she said, only washcloths, and said I should call for towels later in the day. She then emptied one trash can and left, without making the bed or any other cleaning.

I wrote the horrific review of Bally's as I felt my family was disrespected many times by the Bally's staff and that my room had bugs. I've since spoken with the hotel and have been assured that they are implementing new procedures so that this type of situation doesn't occur again. I also am of the understanding that when I reported the rooms bug problem it was proptly taken out of service as well as the rooms adjacent it, ie. above, below, and both sides, in an effort to find the problem area and resolve it. This kind of action is acceptable to me. I understand that not everything is under the hotels control and that the measure of a great hotel is that once they recognize a problem. They will work to solve it so that other guests do not experience the same thing. I look forward to the renovations of the Claridge tower and am excited to make my next trip to Atlantic City and Bally's the memorable one I wanted.

We booked a comp room on a Thursday night in July, much to our surprise we got an ocean front room in the tower. The room was clean and spacious. Usually the comp rooms you get stuck in the Claridge or Dennis Tower. We had a food comp for the buffet or food credit for another restaurant. The line at the buffet was very long so we thought we would try 6six a bistro. The food was very good and the service was good. Overall it was a great trip even though the one arm bandits took our money.
