Nice updated hotel, however the noise from the street was unbearable! I heard everything! I guess the noise would not be as loud if my room were on the 2nd floor. It was an easy check in/out. Only stayed overnight and glad it was only that. Room was very clean and up-to-date. I did not like having to pay a fee to park my vehicle. Staff was nice and pleasant too.

Ok so they have a great location and the rooms not to bad. The cons you have to get extra linens yourself and they charge a $20 extended checkout fee for 1hour(11am checkout). They already charge a room deposit so why should i have to pay $20 for something that is usually granted as a courtesy. Will nit stay anymore. Ooh and the parking sucks another $10 in cash Will def pay for Bally's Caesars etc next time and i will book early.

The negative reviews on here couldn't be more true! The people who work here are ignorant! They are charging guests $10 to park and only allowing you to pay cash. The receipt is not legit either. That seems very shady and I will be reporting this. This was just our first experience.

If the room would have been cleaned it wouldn't have been so horrible. Our sheets were on inside out and they were covered with hair and dirt from the guest before. Good thing we brought our own blankets! The only other complaint about the room I had was the toilets, they don't flush, at all.

The other guests at this MOTEL were are exactly what you would expect. Ignorant and inappropriate! Drunk, loud and have no respect for others. Making comments to young girls as they walked by. When I say young, 12 years old and their parents rushing to their side as they follow you through the walk way! These drunk fools were running up and down the steps, falling down the steps, walking into rooms that didn't belong to them. Scaring these girls as well.

No sleep because if the all night partying and horns blowing from 4AM - 5AM in their parking lot! Oh let's not forget to mention the hotel pets...they are small but try not to take any home with you!

Needless to say we couldn't wait to get home and use a Brillo pad to scrub off the filth.

We booked this hotel because of its location and the price seemed too good to be true. They really need to update their pictures. Sometimes reviews can be harsh; their negative reviews were right on!!

Thank you for writing a review. I apologize your stay was anything less than completely satisfying. It is certainly inappropriate to describe our staff as ignorant. Our staff are hardworking, intelligent and caring. Most guests appreciate our helpful staff. I am sorry they did not meet your expectations. Our parking charge is accepted only in cash because it goes to the lots we lease parking spaces from for the convenience of our guests. We encourage no one to use these spaces. There are multiple parking options all close to our property, and guests can go directly to these lots and pay direct. We offer spaces for guests at the best prices we can obtain from an adjacent lot not owned by us simply as an option. I am surprised to hear your comment that your room was not clean. All our rooms are cleaned by professional housekeepers and inspected by a head housekeeper. Nevertheless had you informed the front desk we would have gladly changed your room. If your toilet did not flush at all we wondered why would you stay in the room without notifying the front desk. We have had no such complaints and no plumbing problems. If we are not told there is a problem we have no opportunity to address it. As to any guests you saw that were drunk, if they were making any inappropriate comments or disturbance you should have contacted the front desk immediately. We would have addressed the matter, contacted the aurhorities if necessary and had the guests removed if the inappropriate behavior continued. As to any pets you are alluding to, our property has no pest problems. We have a licenced pest control company that conducts regular inspections according to local standards and franchise rules. Again we apologize we could not meet your expectations. Most guests love our clean comfortable rooms and exceptional customer service.

i wouldn't give it not 1 star this is a run down motel not a hotel at all, it's Nasty the manager was even worst RUDE! A non smoking room which we request had the bed skirt with cigarette burn on them. When i complained the girl in the front desk just told me when you leave we check it out. To make a long story short i couldn't stay there in that room because it smelled like cigarette i called Expedia and explained the situation in which they contact the hotel manager he got upset and told us to be out in 15 minutes. Do not stay there is not worth the money awful

Thank you for writing a review. You were provided a nonsmoking room. It is unclear how the dammage to the bedskirt occurred or when. Our staff inspected the room and found no odor of smoke. However your request to Expedia for a complete refund was approved by our property. And our records indicate you were provided one hour to leave. Obviously after receiving a complete refund it is expected that you would leave. And at checkout your room companions wanted to negotiate a lower price for all of you to stay, which we refused. Obviously it is a bit strange since you claimed you needed a complete refund because to you the room smelled like smoke and you could not stay. We are sorry we could not meet your expectations.

Ok, my wife booked this hotel on a travel website and was able to get a very reasonable deal for a 1 night stay as a group of couples was going to the Tropicana. The location couldn't have been any better: a half block from the boardwalk and a half block across the street from the Tropicana, our destination. I was slightly concerned when we arrived and found the hotel to be exterior door rooms, meaning that you entered the rooms directly from outside, no interior hallways. I was also concerned about parking, which there didn't appear to be much of. Thankfully we were able to park literally around the corner of the building with no problem. My wife had requested a non-smoking room due to my bad allergies and asthma, but upon check in was given a smoking room. When my wife insisted we requested and needed the non-smoking room, their first response was to simply give back our money. Thankfully my wife managed to get them to reconsider and we got the non-smoking room as requested, whew! When we entered our room, I was very pleased by the overall attractiveness of the room. Very spacious, clean, modern, and appeared to have been renovated very recently. Plenty of room and comfort for a couple to spend the night and get a reasonable night's sleep. My only complaint about the sleep quality had to do with the outside noises such as cars honking and screeching down the street at night. Some better sound dampening would have been great. Loved the soap dish on the sink counter and the ability to purchase any of the amenities for home such as alarm clock, towels, etc if we wanted them. Not many hotels I've been to deal with soap dishes or offer to let you buy their amenities to take home. Ice machine was easy to get to on second floor and rooms were big enough for our group of couples to gather in for drinks before we went out to the Tropicana for the evening. There is a pool here, but it's obviously not open during the winter months. They even had Guardian Angels patrolling the property and streets nearby for added security. Great place to spend the night and use as a homeless for a stay in AC. Would definitely go back again.
