Decent place to stay if you don't care to get much sleep. Hear cop cars left and right 24/7. Had a couple screaming at one another in the middle of the night. Called front desk twice to address it and nothing was done. Next time would definitely pay the extra money to stay somewhere more accomodating.

Thank you for writing a review. I apologize your stay was anything less than completely satisfying. We cannot control police car noises on city streets. We are in the heart of the Casino district across the street from Tropicana Casino. Atlantic City is a city that is active 24/7 with visitors who enjoy the excitement of the city 24/7. We apologize about a yelling couple. If it were in our property we could control it by requesting they quiet down or leave. However when they are on a public street it is beyond our control. We can only notify the authorities of a disturbance which we would always do. I apologize you felt we were not accomadating. Most guests find our customer service exceptionally good and our front desk staff helpful and accomadating. I am sorry they were unable to meet your expectations. I hope you will consider staying with us in the future. I promise we will make every effort to make your next stay more comfortable and satisfying. If you choose a midweek visit you will find our city quieter than on the weekends.

Hotel was clean, room was spacious. The complementary breakfast had waffle makers to make your waffle fresh and a toaster so it wasn't food sitting around. Awesome experience. Can't beat the pricing. Just outside the quarter at the Tropicana and taxis await right outside.

First off, I am stunned about this place. My expectation about staying in an express Wyndham - never again. To begin, I can think of ONLY 2 Pro's about this property. ITS location (It's across the street from the Tropicana) and the bed was super comfy( Sealy's Beauty rest). Now the negative: sheets are NOT supplied in the room already- ridiculous in today's time as this is standard practice in all hotels. Upon arrival, the bed was nicely made but very apparent that sheets were not changed. I requested additional sheets and I HAD TO GO RETRIEVE THEM! Note, I am fit, not lazy as I was willing to change the sheets but was told house keeping already left for the evening (it was 7:00pm), and the front desk was hesitant to give out 2 sheets and no pillowcases (there were none available) that was locked in a safe at the front desk??? Carpet, suspect, shower and toiletries? Truly scarce. First time forgetting toiletries and they had no mouth wash but rendered a few packets of toothpaste. Like Seriously??? Where's the customer service??? IS this not a Wyndham property??? In my opinion - you're better off staying at a Hilton Express!!! This place should NOT carry the Wyndham brand hame. Again, if you are in it for the location, your great. Other than that, I strongly suggest you bring your own stuff!

Thank you for writing a review. I am sorry your stay was anything less than completely satisfying. I am happy to hear you enjoyed our convenient location only steps to Tropicana Casino, the beach, boardwalk, shopping and restaurants. Its also nice to know our beds were confortable. Our guest's comfort is very important to us. I can absolutely assure you our sheets are changed. Our housekeepers are all professional, and all clean rooms are inspected by our housekeeping supervisor. We provide fresh clean sheets on the beds in our rooms, and we have supplies for any emergency at the front desk. If you felt your room did not have clean sheets we would have gladly changed your room. Since no such request was made to the front desk we had no way of knowing why you wanted a second set of sheets. Some guests eat on the bed and could have spilled some food or drink. So when simply asked for sheets our staff would respect our guest's request and not ask why. However if you told us there was a problem we surely would have changed your room. Customer service is a priority for us and we are sorry we had no mouthwash, however we do provide friendly helpful service that most of our guests appreciate. We are sorry we were unable to meet your expectations. Most guests love our great customer service and clean comfortable rooms.

I called Wyndham directly to make my reservation for October 28th and 29th. I was told my card would be charged at check in and then received an email confirmation.

We drove 3 hours and arrived around 830 PM for check in. At that time I was told by the desk clerk very loudly in a very crowded lobby that my reservation had been cancelled because my card was declined. Huh? You didn't even run it yet!

The hotel chose to run my card 48 hours ahead of time, the card was declined, the room was cancelled and they were now sold out. No one called me to tell me, or even emailed me to tell my my reservation was cancelled.

Oh well, we stayed at the Marriott which was much nicer anyway. Worked out well for us.

PS. This is not a hotel. Doors face the outside-Tryp by Wyndham motel. Never again will I reserve a room with Wyndham.

Thank you for writing a review. Your card is preauthorized prior to arrival after the permited cancellation period has ended, to be sure the card is a valid credit card. When it declines that means the card is not a valid credit card for the purpose of holding a reservation. You were called when the card was declined and there was no response. After no response we rightfully cancelled the reservation. We have a strict policy of preauthorizing a credit card prior to arrival, after the cancellation period, that most hotels in Atlantic City adhere to. We are very sorry but the procedure was applied correctly. We cannot hold a room on a card that is declined. If we did this there would be no purpose in guarenteeing a reservation with a credit card. I do hope when you think about this matter you will agree that no hotel in a high demand area can hold a reservation on a card that cannot be preauthorized. We do hope you will have an opportunity to stay with us in the future.

We reserved this room online and I blame myself for not doing a little more research. The front desk man was nice, but was confused about our online reservation. Then we took a trip up the grossest elevator I have ever been on and quite honestly thought I was going to die..lol. We got to out room and it looked nice, until I really looked. Let's just say I spent the night worrying about bugs. The location wasn't quite accommodating either. We had to park out back and this made it so we couldn't even see our vehicle. That made me nervous as it was in a very busy section. Then to boot, we listened to drunken yelling and screaming all night. I was never so glad to leave a place before.

Thank you for writing a review. I am glad you found our front desk person to be nice. Customer service is very important to us. I apologize that your online reservation created some confusion. Unfortunately some of the smaller online sites do not provide us with all the information we need. I do not understand why you would feel our room would have bugs. We provide clean comfortable rooms. We also have regular licensed pest control according to industry standards and franchise rules. If there was some reason you did not like your room upon closer inspection, I wish you would have immediately notified the front desk, and we would have gladly changed your room. We have a network of security cameras throughout our property monitored 24 hours a day. We make every effort to provide a safe and secure environment. I apologize you heard yelling and screaming. Again I wish you would have contacted the front desk, because if the noise was on our property we would have addressed it immediately. If it is noise on the street it is somewhat beyond our control, Atlantic City is awake 24/7 with people partying and enjoying. We are steps from Tropicana Casino, the beach, boardwalk, shopping and restaurants. It is a hub of activity. Most guests love our convenient location. I hope you will consider staying with us in the future, and I promise we will make every effort to make your next stay more satisfying and enjoyable.
