“The best indoor area in Atlantic City”
Reviewed April 19, 2009

I'm not much for shopping for a $500 purse, but maybe you are. If not, do what I did. Take the escalator up to the 3rd (top floor) and get a comfortable beach chair (complete with sand!) order a drink and watch the city and ocean through the clean huge windows. After that, go outside on the deck and watch the dolphins play in the ocean.

“Upscale hangout”
Reviewed September 10, 2008

This has become one of our favorite spots in AC. There are several good restaurants, an entertaining water and light show (played hourly) and many places to enjoy the view of the ocean and boardwalk. Check out the third floor level with the "beach" seating along the windows. Of course, there are many shops, most of them great for window shopping even if they are priced exclusively for the high roller crowd.

“Nice place to shop”
Reviewed August 7, 2008

I hit this mall (a few times) every time I'm in AC. There are three floors. The top is food (which I dont care for), the middle is high end stores (mostly), and the bottom is your typical mall stores. At the end of the mall/pier there is a water show. It's worth sticking around for. Sales people tend to be nice.

“Love it!”
Reviewed April 1, 2008

I think this is a great addition to Atlantic City. The views are wonderful and as you walk through on the upper levels there are areas with beach chairs and sand up against the window looking out across AC giving off the feeling like oyu are at the beach. There is a fountain on the first floor that you can view from any of the three floors and it actually has a water/light show every half hour or so. Worth the time to see it. They have very high end stores here such as Louis Vuitton, Burberry, and Gucci, however there is one store on the 2nd floor by the escalator where everything is $15 and you can usually find something. Ate at the Irish Pub restaurant and it was not bad, would recommend it if you like steak or lamb chops. Its a nice change from the smokey casinos and loud ringing bells.

“Luxe shopping, gorgeous views a little bit of Vegas style in ac”

The PIER

Because it was New Years Day and I was traveling with darling husband and sons we chose a sports bar, Game On which we thought was at Caesars. Well, it is at the Pier attached to Caesars via sky walk, or the boardwalk. The Pier is all enclosed, by the way.

What a treat it is to go into the Pier! We were fortunate to have a warm clear sunny day and the view from the third floor was spectacular. Beach grass and lofty wooden chairs face the view so sitting in the sun with toes in the sand was a reality even on the first day of January. Wonderful. This place is actually a mall, with Rodeo drive shops mixed with modern upscale mall staples. Think Louis Vuitton meets The Body Shop. Thankfully no return lines or holiday crowds to detract from the clear elevator rides, hourly fountain shows, free form staircases and beautiful décor and water sculptures. I hate and may I exaggerate, HATE shopping malls but this place was delightful and worth a stroll to the end of the pier for the ocean views and breeze. There is an outdoor observation deck end@ Pier. This Pier is convenient to Bally’s and Trump Tower and a weather permitting stroll from the rest of the Boardwalk hotels. Maybe another poster can verify if this was the former Steel Pier, where we used to watch horses jump into the ocean in the 1960’s! Egad!

Unfortunately on the boardwalk there are still handicapped beggars and men wearing old military uniforms out there. Are these the same guys Giuliani kicked out of Times Square ?
