On July 30, 2019 driving from Maryland to get to AC and the rooms weren't ready at 3:30pm, Tracy the front desk attendant handle the process very smoothly and gave us other rooms accommodated us for the mishap. The whole staff was incredible. Thanks for the great service.

Stayed over night here with my granddaughter. Our room was nice and clean. Check in was a little disorganized. I believe the guy who helped us was new. There was some mixup with my account and they ended up charging an old card I no longer use and didn't have with me. Because I didn't have the card with me they couldn't refund the amount. This was a points stay so not sure why I was charged anything. The manager called me the next day and apologized. They are sending a check for the charge and refunded the points for that night stay. I was pleased with how he handled the situation. But still not sure why I was charged 44.00 dollars. Nobody has an explanation as to why I was charged that amount. Good thing I caught it at checkout. The location of this hotel is great. A block to the boardwalk and beach. I would stay here again. I was a little offended by the sign in the bathroom from housekeeping that stated if anything was taken from your room housekeeping would assume that you agreed to buy it and charge your card accordingly. I have never taken anything from a room but many times (we travel extensively) I have been given a room that had no hair dryer or was short a towel or had no washclothes at all. Am I at risk of being charged if housekeeping fails to provide these or if the guest before me took them. They have a price list on the note. Iron board 30.00. Really, someone is going to steal an ironing board or the alarm clock for 25.00. Who uses an alarm clock anymore.
Marriott should think to train their front office staff including the front office manager named chasan Bynum as he was very rude in replaying to our concerns and requests as well as the front office lady that was also very rude and just keep telling us non sense replies for our concerns even she have wisperd to her manager that she don't like us as Marriott customers which for me is an un ethical behavior which already affects Marriott reputation as I'll never use Marriott hotels any more neither any one from my family or friends well done Marriott staff for loosing anther customer!!!!
Hotel is very clean and quiet, staff attentive and polite, beaches and boardwalk just at 5 min walking distance. If you don’t want use the valet parking there is a convenient parking just outside the hotel, just negotiate and you ll get a good deal .
Location is great walking distance to the boardwalk, restaurants and beach. We only stayed for a night wish we had stayed longer. The tv was not working we could not switch rooms bc the hotel was fully booked, we got a credit and free delicious breakfast. Beds are comfortable, room is so nice, bathroom is huge and luxurious. I will definitely be going back in the near future
I had no idea that a Marriott Courtyard of this quality exists, especially at the shore! I only needed a single night so I had a place to stay after a concert at the nearby Hard Rock Casino. I am very happy with this choice.
Often, at a hotel at the N.J. shore, the service can be below average. I guess that’s because they feel like they will not have many repeat customers. However, the service here was above average, especially for the valet parking! I know, it’s strange to complement valet parking. However, I normally hate valet parking because it feels slow. However, these parking attendants really hustle, the parking lot is very close, and there is no shortage of attendants. So, the valet service was fast.
The staff, everyone, lived up to the Marriott name and culture. Thank you.
