Show lessTo be honest, I don’t know where to start, as I think my entire experience in Atlantic City was disappointing and a little surreal (so much of the hotels / shops are closed down).
I was hesitant to stay at this hotel, as I normally book my own hotel rooms, however, as it was a weekend with some friends, I just went with the flow….(I will regret that for the rest of my life :)).
When we arrived, the reception area was nice and welcoming, but that is where it stopped.
The room I was given was like a box, which looked like it has never been redecorated. Honestly, if they were trying to give the room a retro ‘feel’, they failed on all levels. There was a bed, chest of drawers and three doors (the room was actually a square ). One door was for an adjoining room (however, it seemed that I was part of the other room as the walls where so thin…..wish I brought ear plugs as what I heard was not for my innocent ears). The second door opened into a small cupboard room and at the back of the room there was the third door that opened to a very small bathroom. This must have been the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel. However, it was not just small, it looked older than the room itself and not very clean (or maybe it was the décor). I felt I had to clean myself after having a shower in it (slight exaggeration maybe).
The funny thing is that my friends were given better rooms (maybe 10% better) than me and I was the only one that was a Radisson Member (Gold).
Waiting for the elevators were ridiculous. It would be quicker to climb Mount Everest. However, it can be used as a good excuse for being late.
The views I had was of a city that had long passed its prime (which is not the hotel’s fault), but added to the whole surreal experience (not in a good way).
There is also a connection to the Ballys Casino from this hotel, so you don’t have to leave the building, BUT, you will have to WAIT for the elevator!!
The upstairs bar was okay, as you could go onto the rooftop and get good views of the city (or where to avoid as it did not look safe).
As you can tell from my review, I would not be staying here again (or visiting Atlantic City for that matter) and therefore would not recommend this hotel or city.

We got to stay in the Sinatra Suite while in town for the Atlantic City Beer Fest. The property is gorgeous, and has been recently updated. We really enjoyed the theming and feel of the hotel. While there we got to visit The Vue on the top floor, what a great bar in AC. Got the sliders, they were excellent. Will be back soon.

Front desk staff was very professional and fast check-in, but a little slow on check-out. There is a fee for parking and the garage is a bit of a walk from the lobby, to include a elevator ride down to lobby. Older building, but not bad on the upkeep of it (1920's motif). Bed and pillow were nice. Windows are older so a little small. Coffee maker and fridge in room. Fitness center is next to pool area, it is a bit of a walk to the pool/fitness area. There is not casino in hotel, but other just next door is Bally's. Large portion of the second floor under renovation. Would stay here again.
