“Angelos never disappoints.”

Authentic Italian food at this very busy restaurant. Eggplant parm is sliced thin and cooked to perfection. They have a cappuccino machine with excellent coffee. No reservations.

“Popular hot spot”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

My wife and I ate at Angelo's on a Tuesday evening. We arrived around 6:00 and had to wait around 10". By 6:30 the wait was 45" and growing. We ordered on appetizer and one entree with one drink which cost $50 including tip. The place has a rustic charm with several dining rooms and a bar room. For our appetizer, we ordered the eggplant rollatini which was excellent. Our entree came with a salad and our waiter gave us two plates so we could divide the salad which was nice. The salad was very good. For our entree we ordered veal parm. with agelhair in a marinara sauce. Our waiter served this in two separate plates which was again, very nice. My wife and I disagreed about the quality of this dish. I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce and felt the veal was average. She felt the veal was like fried shoe leather. The pasta was a bit overcooked which is easy to do with angelhair.

“Great Food and Service”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

Was in Atlantic City for a work meeting. One of our party made a reservation for 16 (ended up being 10) for dinner. They force you to meet in the bar area before being seated for your table. Old style Italian restaurant. Lots of pictures of sports stars on the walls. Most of the dining rooms are small with a a just few tables. Being a Wednesday night in November and not too busy we had a room all to our selves. Our server was excellent. They have a nice house red wine made special for them (I did not try since I am not a fan of red wine but others in the group recommended it). Also one in the party had the muscles as a starter and it was large enough for 3. I had the ravioli -- very good. So is the bread. The salad comes family style. Also very good. Prices are reasonable. Would definately visit if in the area again.

“Good Italian food right off The Walk”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

After a Saturday afternoon of shopping at The Walk, stopped at the Fairmont Tavern at 4 PM. We had a drink and left. They close the kitchen from 3-4:30. OK, so we did a bit more shopping! Went back and started with a half carafe of the house Chianti. Very nice red wine, a bit sweet, velvety smooth and fruity. No tannin taste.

We then shared Crab and Spinach dip, served with toasted slices of the bread. A basket of the bread was also served with butter. There were actually some lumps of crab meat in the dip. Not just the name like some other places.

I had the Shrip and Spinach over pasta. About 6 butterflied, well cooked, tasty shrimp, with gobs of spinach over my choice of pasta. My wife had broiled Scallops over her choice of pasta. About 10 large scallops and the pasta. Half came home for lunch tomorrow.

We split a large tiramisu.

The food was all good. The pasta dishes and Chinti were the highlights.

As far as the decor, it was, well, looking like a restaurant that has been there for a long time, Nothing fancy, but clean and simple.

Service was friendly and efficient.

We'll be back.
