I visited Hooters in Tropicana this week while in AC with some friends from work. I was reluctant to go here for lunch, but since I work in an industry dominated by men, we women were overruled. It's easily accessible on the Boardwalk level of the Tropicana in the "food court." Dreading the experience, we trudged our way from Bally's to the Trop & we entered Hooters.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's not exactly the smutty joint that I thought it would be. The girls did wear tight shirts, but that was the extent of it. They were nice, provided decent service and the food was actually very good. We got wings & onion rings for the table & then each had our own lunches.
All in all, it was a good experience. I think if I was to be with a group of men again, I might go into another Hooters. But, unfortunately the theme & stigma of the chain itself will keep me away otherwise
