Convenient and entertaining way to explore Atlantic City casinos.
It is safe with different kinds of food, clothing and other types shops which makes the stroll leisurely and interesting along with watch the people on the boardwalk. Plus it provides easy access to the beach which we brought our own easy to carry beach chairs.

Boardwalk is always comfortable to walk.
Weather was windy but still enjoyed the walk up and down the Boardwalk .

In AC for business conference. Stayed at Tropicana. Walked left out of Tropicana one night; Walked right out of Tropicana second night. Panhandlers interrupt reading at the Korean Conflict Memorial and approach while walking. Tired, dilapidated, abandoned facades, and multiple seedy massage joints with employees beckoning passing pedestrians to stop saddened me. Walked to AC/Ventnor, NJ line the second night. Enjoyed reading the plaques affixed to the memorial benches. Enjoyed seeing the homes and buildings. No abandoned facades, no panhandlers, and no massage joints.
Allowed an appreciation for what used to be like before built up and abandoned. Walked the beach during the first afternoon's walk - very clean!!

Was here over a weekend; it's a great stretch to just casually stroll through. Plenty of places to pop in to for food or just to get out of the sun and definitely family-friendly. Some of the areas show some age and wear, but doesn't take away from the charm of the place much.

Wonderful during the day, many things to see and lots of souvenier shopping to be had. Locals stressed to not walk to the left of boardwalk....of course we ended up wandering through on way home and witnessed a mugging of a man for his necklace less than 10 feet from us! Do not recommend visiting evening hours as no cameras and limited to no police/security presence. Be warned, not safe at night.
