Stayed at Resorts for 2 LONG...BORING nights in October. Why anyone under 70 would consider this place is beyond me! My girlfriend found a cheap rate for a room(wonder why) so we took it. There is absolutely nothing to do in this place. There was a cocktail lounge on the casino floor called 25 Hours and also a comedy show....but that was it! I suppose if you like to do nothing but gamble and smoke this is the place for you. We took a cab down to the Quarter at Tropicana and I can assure you that is where we will stay next time. While the casino isn't that great, at least the place has a pulse! Someone should unplug the life support for Resorts and put it out of it's misery!

We were very pleased to be upgraded to a suite in the ocean tower. We think that the oceantower is good situated and connected to the boardwalk.
For elderly people (who joint us)a great advantage.
Furthermore the service, breakfast buffet and dinner were above expectations.
When you like an older style biulding above modern, this is a must be.
So, a very recommendable hotel.

My guy and I stayed in this hotel from July7-9. It was a nice enough hotel, and we had a majority of things comped as my family tends to gamble here a lot. We had a room in the Rendezvous Tower--but heard to stay away from the old tower. The room was large, very clean, decent view, okay bed. The bathroom was large--although that was about it. Large. Very few amenities in the room. I agree with the reviewer that said the showers could use a bench or something. Our room was quiet at nite as well, and we didn't hear anything from neighboring rooms. Only people with rooms in this tower were allowed up as well--staff checks your key before the elevator.

We went to the comedy club--comped tickets--and that was nice as well. The comedian was hilarious that nite--although we were the youngest couple in the audience--and I think the only couple under 30. We really didn't eat at Resorts so I can't vouch for the food--rather we walked down to Tropicana and ate at Red Square (we went to the Red Square in Vegas, and were highly impressed--we were not disappointed in AC).

We did, however, check out Nikki Beach and the Elbow Room....very nice. Nikki Beach has delicious mojitos and the Elbow Room is very laid back. The staff is great at the elbow room as well--one of my credit cards fell out of my wallet and went under the boardwalk--they did everything to get it out and eventually did.

We probably won't stay there again, as everything that we did there is open to the public, but rather opt for a suite at either the new tower at Trop or Caesars. Nice place to lay your head though.

Spent a couple of nights in this hotel, located on the boardwalk. Slight problem at check-in when they could not find our reservation but was soon sorted out as we had confirmation numbers etc to hand. Check out was very slow (we were the only ones around at 6.00 a.m. but the lady on Reception was too engrossed in another task and we appeared to be getting in the way of whatever it is she was doing!). The Rendezvous Tower feels brand new. The room was a very good size and the bathroom was great - just what I want (with a bath-tub) when I win the lottery! The only drawback was the absence of a bathtub but the shower enclosure was big and the shower worked well. Room was spotless and gleaming on arrival and daily. Good location on the boardwalk as it was easy to find cafes and restaurants (avoid the hotel buffet at all costs - the queue seemed endless). We found a good Thai restaurant on the boardwalk that did breakfasts until 1.00 p.m.

Disappointed that the Asian Spice Restaurant and Italian restaurant at Resorts were not fully open on Wednesday or Thursday (we were there during the week) and only open Fri-Sun. The Asian Spice offered an alternative menu with a few dishes on it (the General somebody chicken was tasty, don't try the duck it is more bones than meat!). And the outlet shops were a pleaseant walk away and not too far to carry all that shopping back! They also have various classes, i.e. yoga and pilates and a spa at Resorts so if you don't want to gamble all day there are other activities for you to indulge in.

My husband and I just got back from Resorts. We were there for 3 days.

Upon arrival which was approx. 12:30,,,we had to stand on line until 1:00 to check in. Once that was completed our room was not ready and we had to keep calling ext. 7200 to find out when the room would be ready. FInally at 4Pm the room was ready. In the meantime there was no way we could charge our lunch to our room since we had no paperwork. All other casinos check you in and give you a card so you can go about and charge expenses to the room.

The room we stayed in was very nice. However, the bathroom is an accident waiting for a place to happen. A tremendous stall shower with NO bars or bench to sit. How do they expect people to dry their legs? If they put senior citizens in that type of room or people that have back,,hip,,etc. problems they cannot safely take a shower. Also, the toilet is very very low,,,,,,,,again no safety bar to help people get up. After all, all of the visitors to Resorts are not young people who require no help.

The elevators in that tower do NOT go to the 2nd floor where the gourmet restaurants are located. We had to take the elevator down,,,,,then walk across the entire casino to take another elevator up to the 2nd floor. This also applies to the Breadsticks coffee shop located near the boardwalk.

I think I will stick to the Tropicana where we normally stay. We tried Resorts due to the good deal we got,,,,,,,,but we were exhausted walking the entire length of the casino just to get a cup of coffee.

We've just returned from 3 glorious days @ AC. What made it great was our stay at the Redenzvous Tower at the Resorts not to mention perfect weather for September. The check in was a little confusing but quick and the personnel was not too helpful. Our room was not available for over an hour (10pm Yikes). I think they were short staffed. This is the newer tower and the rooms were fab. Had room service as soon as we got our room and the food was exceptionally good and service was good. The room service staff was subpurb. The housekeeping staff in the Tower was extremely helpful and room was cleaned promptly. The spa was good and not crowded (end of summer). I'm sure it's busy during summer season. Had a one-on-one with the yoga instructor (no one else showed up for the class :). It was so enjoyable by the poolside above the beach. The only downside for the health club/spa is the hours of operation. They open at 9 and close at 6 or 7. Had dinner the next night at Camlot. The service was excellent and very attentative. Ask for Thomas and Kevin if you should dine there. Short walk to all the other casinos. Visited other casinos and hotels because friends were staying there as well. Bally's, Claridge and Taj Mahal were all very outdated. Too much commotion and many people at Bally's. Rooms at Bally's and Claridge were very outdated. No action at Taj Mahal. They really need a face lift. I would definitely stay at the Redenzvous Tower at the Resorts again.

My husband and I recently stayed at Resorts, and we too were pleasantly surprised. Our room was in the Ocean Tower, which after reading some of these reviews, I didn't expect much, however we received a good nightly rate, so thought we'd give it a try. We were delighted with the room. It was huge with king bed, oceanfront with a beautiful view, and very clean. Bathroom may be a bit older, however that's the only bad thing I can say about the room. Everything worked (a/c, outlets, etc.) and room was ready when we arrived for check-in. It was more than adequate for the two of us for a getaway weekend. We would definitely stay here again!
