“Fabulous dinner - excellent service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

My wife and I ate here with another couple on a Thursday night. Almost immediately after being seated, we were inundated with appetizer type fare which is included with dinner. Very fresh hot and cold dishes. The chunk parmesan cheese was really good. The wait staff quickly filled water glasses and kept them filled throughout dinner.
Our entrees were very tasty and presented well on the plate. It is a bit pricey but a great event meal. Would love to return again.

“Great Spot”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

Had dinner on Sat night. Nice restaurant although the prices are similar to the real Il Mulino next door. We had the meatballs, rice balls, shrimp francese and the linguine with white clam sauce. The food was great. The servers were nice. There were several large groups in the private rooms. They gave us the complimentary eggplant appetizer as well as limoncello at the end of our meal. Good food, good location.

“You better off in the main Il Mulino next door”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2013

Because it the same kitchen, but better service and better choices of food. Of course, they are offering you to choose from the main menu in Trattoria as well, but why would you do so? Prices here are not much lower, if at all. There is no cheaper wines as you still have to use the same wine list. The only advantage is that they are a little quicker in case you are in rush going to casino.

“Three years later”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2013

We were coming here since it was opened around three years ago and I would give the place the highest mark on all the previous visits. It is hard to point what was different this time, but something definitely was. The service seems to be a little less attentive, there were no suggestions or discussions about what wine to select for dinner. The most surprising fact is that they had no specials at all (first time on our many visits) and this is on the 4th of July! Raisin grappa at the end of the dinner was previously served from the huge ball with the raisin on the bottom, so some of them would end at your glass. Not anymore, they just pour it from the bottle :(. The food is still great! Sole and mango sorbet served there are still the best I ever had.
