“Room for improvement”
Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

We had a studio room for a week. The room was renovated and it was very nice. There is a big refrigerator and freezer. The Kitchenette is very functional.
Two double beds.
The view from the 24th floor is great. I like the room.
Check in was terrible. We came in early to see if our room was ready. We were not greeted warmly, and we are owners.... We were told to come back at 3:00 for check in. The next check-in clerk was not friendly or helpful either. Not even a smile.
The new elevators were not working. We had a 20 minute wait for an elevator.
There is plenty of parking at the Flagship. You need a pass to park inside the garage.
The lobby is boring.
The shuttle has a limited schedule, so it is not useful.
We had to drive to all of the casinos. It takes 10-30 minutes depending on traffic and stop lights. Cab rides are typically $13.00.
We didn't use the indoor pool or sun deck. We didn't use the restaurant either.
We have been owners of Flagship for 20 years and the check-in staff has always had issues. Please train these employees to be happy, friendly and helpful.
We will come back again. I hope our check in experience improves.

Spent 6 days at the Fantasea, Flagship in Atlantic City. We were on the 12th floor in a one bedroom unit facing the ocean and Revel. Check in was fast. Room was comfortable with a king bed and a large living area and nice balconies. Kitchen was disappointing. Room was clean and well maintained.

We enjoyed the restaurant on the 7th floor for breakfast. Reasonably priced.

The best part of this resort was the staff. Five stars for the employees. The worst part of this resort was the elevators. Long waits during check in/ out and around 5pm.

Traveled to Brigantine for the beach. We are senior citizens so the beach badges were free. Went to the 16th street beach where there are rest rooms and an outdoor shower. There is a great restaurant on the beach.

We stayed away from the boardwalk. Not for us. Enjoyed an evening in Harrahs. Great meal at McCormick and Schmicks.

Room Tip: Try to choose a room below the 12th level. You may need to use the stairs because of the slow eleva...

I stayed here for a week in a 1 bedroom unit on a timeshare exchange. It's a high-rise building located right on the Atlantic Ocean at the far eastern edge of Atlantic city. I will start off by saying that the location is very good for AC, about a 2 minute drive from the Revel resort, and there are shuttles running every half hour to the rest of the major resorts in the city. BUT... the kitchen is not really a full kitchen (just 2 electric burners), and the decor is pretty dated (check out the photos). The views were very nice, and I think every unit has a balcony. I didn't use many of the hotel amenities, but the pool was very crowded when I stopped by. I will say that the room was clean, and the front desk staff was very friendly. Basically, if you want a condo where you can cook up a few meals during your stay, this will work.

First of all, when we arrived with our luggage (which consists of one large suitcase and a set of golf clubs) we had to drag everything up 11 flights of stairs. The elevators were terrible. You would literally wait 15 minutes for an elevator just to be disappointed when it was full and you couldn't fit. Then you'd wait another 15 minutes and that one would be full. It makes no sense that they have only 4 elevators for such a large place. Everyone was so annoyed with this (not just the people in our party). We had to carry our clubs down 11 flights every time we wanted to go golfing.

Also, it is about 1 mile to walk to the boardwalk and casinos. (The walk is through a rough looking neighborhood). It mentions free shuttle service. This is not true. We waited for the shuttle to the casino and they said we weren't allowed because its only for owners and that's it. The manager came out and gave us attitude. She was not nice at all.

The only good note is the rooms were very nice and the balconies were very private and some were huge. The scenery was great of the ocean too.

In my opinion, if you're going to AC for the casinos, I wouldn't stay here.

We were given a wonderful room on the 23rd floor with an ocean view in this all suites hotel which has been nicely updated. To avoid having to pay around $300 a night, we were able to get our room for $79 plus a whole bunch of other gifts for sitting through Fanta-Sea Resorts timeshare sales presentation. Even if the room discount was the only perk, the savings on the room rate was worth the time we had to spend with the salesperson. Just make sure you can give firm reasons why you can't buy one of these unless you want to make a long term commitment.

Room Tip: Ask to take the Fanta-Sea tour and save $$$!

I wish I read the reviews prior to booking room through expedia. There were a host of surcharges that's not reveal until to exactly book and paid. The room were in poor condition for example: the carpets were dirty and lots of cigarette burns, broken frame door leading to balcony, stains on blanket and pillow case, and the evaluators are extremely slow. Exedia contact the hotel to cancel and Manageer indicated they would still charge us for one night @ $200+.
Stay clear of this hotel. Did I mention the mildew smell. It was obvious the didn't clean the room good because they left a bathing suit on the balcony. Very shameful

This was my wife and I first visit to AC. After reading some of the reviews were not sure about staying here. We were pleasently surprised by this place. First, yes the elevators are being upgraded so that means that there will be delays at times. If you are not willing to wait, stay somewhere else. If you go on a a holiday weekend, there are four elevators, 32 floors, with 19 rooms on each floor, do the math. There will be delays. Second, the area near by the resort is not exactly the best, but if you go off the boardwalk, casino area its not the best either. Third , the staff was great. From check in to check out everyone associated with this resort was polite, friendly and helpful. A special shutout to Omar the shuttled driver, Darrin our bellhop and Angelo our waiter, they all made our stay here very nice. Fourth, there are shuttles to take you to most of the casinos and boardwalk areas. The area near this resort is in the process of a major up grade over the next few years. There are brand new homes, condos and townhouse right next to this resort with more developement on the way. We will definitly be staying here in the future.

Room Tip: All the rooms have nice views but try to get a corner room for the best views.
