Queenie at the front desk was exceptionally accommodating, speedy and charming when we checked in. It was a lovely way to be welcomed.
The overall aesthetic of the hotel was open, refreshing, and refined, with touches of greenery, stone, and wood along modern lines.
Unfortunately, the outdoor pool was closed due to weather, but the indoor pools (while small) were great.
Fellow guests for the most part were friendly but not intrusive.
The rooms themselves were also well-designed, although I admit I found the color combination of the bedding odd. The mattress itself was fine, but not the best.
The bathroom was laid out beautifully, and the dual shower heads were a treat...although I admit to some difficulty with understanding the controls at first, and with operating them even once I'd gotten the idea.
In general, The Water Club was an oasis -- only steps away from the full Borgata casino and all of its dining and entertainment options, but at at a welcome remove from the clamor.
My friend and I were only there for one night thanks to a MyVegas offer, but almost immediately started planning to go back.More
