I found Lulo when I had been on the road for a week and was in desperate need of fresh vegetables and something a little more like home than the typical cuisine. Lulo make traditional dishes, plus a few newer additions, with fresh ingredients and heart. It is incredibly reasonably priced gourmet and definitely worth a couple of stops if you are in the area.

We ate here two nights in a row because the food was so good! There is indoor and outdoor seating, we preferred the later because of the fantastic atmosphere, local musicians and cool weather.
The menu consists of entrees, gourmet Sandwiches and salads and mains (fish and meats)- we both designed in the Lomo (beef) it was absolutely perfect. For about $15US for a main- the meal is perfect. They also have a great breakfast menu too.
The staff are super attentive and one of the female wait staff speaks fluent English.
Definitely a must try in Santa Marta!

Fabulous food here! We absolutely enjoyed our meals here both nights we dined. We had strawberry moijitos as starters which were excellent. For mains I had beautiful cooked steak on an Arepa (Colombian flatbread made of corn), with grilled vegetables and lashings of fresh avocado, lemon, lime and onion. Absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The night after, I tried the same dish but with lightly drilled octopus - divine! They have a wide range of meals on their menu including ceviche, meat and seafood dishes, pita breads, dessert of the day and cocktails. The Colombian coffee here is a real treat too! Very reasonably priced with our mains at approximately $10 US each and drinks for $7.50 US each.

Service is great - staff are friendly and can speak English. The service is also super quick. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner options and the breakfast looked delicious - I only wish we could have stayed longer to try it! Atmosphere is great here as well. I would definitely sit outside because inside is quite hot (despite the air-conditioning and fans) plus its very chilled on weekends with live music. Situated on a buzzing restaurant strip, its a perfect place to kick back at night. Wifi is also available.

Hot day and we stopped in for a cool drink. Thought the smoothies were terrific. Give them a try sure you will find them very satisfying as much as we did
