(March 14 to 21)
This is the smallest all-inclusive Decameron hotels on San Andres island, yet it is the most comfortable. The staff are friendly, the food is great, and the entertainment, for young and not-so-young, is awesome. There are four eating areas - La Terraza (a buffet with the menu that changes everyday), Las Brasas (BBQ), Caravelle (seafood) and the snack bar. Out on the pier is a pier bar called Coco Blue. There, you can get drinks and cigarettes.
The beach is man made, with many activities. They have dance lessons (reggae, salsa), volleyball, soccer, horseshoe tossing, and water activities. The water activities which are included are kayaking, paddle-boating and windsurfing. You can go SeaDoo-ing for 20,000 pesos. The animation team are friendly, featuring a Flinstone theme, like Looky-Looky Bam-Bam.
The name "Marazul" can be broken up into two parts -> Mar (sea)/azul (blue), and to be honest, the actual beach water isn't blue. The pool is in an 8 shape, one half being 1.5 feet, and the other gets deeper as you walk, goind up to 5.5 feet. At 10:00 am, they have water aerobics, and around 3:30pm is a pool game.
There are nightly shows for children, adults and seniors. The kid's show starts at 9:30 pm, and it consists of dancing and a game (and if you win you get a TShirt). At 10:00 pm is the normal show. The theme changes every night, like...(March 14 to 21)

For tourism, I recommend that you rent a golf cart (we rented ours from Rent-A-Car Esmerelda's) and go along the highway which always has an ocean view. By the golf cart, it took us less than four hours to go around the perimeter of the island. But you would be on a schedule. The complementary bus from the Decameron hotels leaves at 9:00 am. Then you get off across Hotel Aquarium, to the rent-a-car. If you rent a golf-cart, bargain down to how much you want (we took two carts for four hours and go them for 60,000 pesos). You can go along the shore, or go to the first Baptist Church which was established in 1844, or visit the other Decameron hotels, which you are allowed to go to or Captain Morgans cave. When you are done your four hour trip, go to the Hotel Aquarium to eat lunch, and tour the place if you want. You should also bring your snorkelling gear, because they have great snorkelling.
It was the nicest hotel that I saw when I was on the island, and don't forget to say "hi" to King Kong!!!!
