This was a beautiful excursion. You actually can walk from one small island to another via walking on the beach.

The boat process was a bit ghetto.

We did excursion to three islands. It was very interesting. You can sea the sea with seven colors, to do snorkeling and to sweem with mantas!!!!

The sand is fine and smooth, the sea is inviting and 7 shades of blue so when you get in the sea you do not want to leave. We even swam beside a 12 foot shark so thank goodness it wasn't hungry!

We swam beside so many different colours of tropical fish and even swam near a turtle! Awesome experience.

We had lunch on the beach - there are a number of different options to choose from, can't remember the name of the place as all the restaurants merge with each other, but the food was cooked above the beach and then brought down. We had the fish with the most delicious coconut rice, salad and patacons.

Johnny Cay is a small island off the Caribbean coast. It has a lovely beach, but is usually overrun by hoards of tourists who come by boat to spend a few hours and lots of pesos. You can rent beach chairs and so on. There are a few restaurants that serve appetizers and local food.
