“Great spot for beer”

Good food, plenty of beer options, and a great atmosphere. I enjoyed a dinner here with a friend and I'll be going back for sure.

“Great late night dine”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

After coming out of a concert at the Stone Pony we were in search of food! We tried The Bank, Pascal & Sabine and their kitchens were closed. We found success at Brickwall. The inside was very crowded and loud, as expected for 11pm. We were seated outside and were delighted with the menu and extensive beer list. Our experience was perfect for what we needed!

“Loved it!”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

First of all, this is the first bar in our area that we could find that had flying dog dead ride on tap! That was impressive enough for us but everything was great. I paid $15 to sample four different beers with my lunch, and their selection was pretty good. Our table ordered turkey chili, mac and cheese, a port wine cheeseburger, perogies, and a biscuit of the day which was parmesan and herb. Everything was so delicious and the "small plates" were a regular portion size! They do free bingo on sundays where you can win prizes. The bar is really big and they have high top tables in that area, they also have regular tables in a dining room and outside. I was impressed at the array of clients; there were families with small children, young adults, and senior citizens all enjoying themselves. Love this place now and can't wait to go back. I agree the service wasn't the best, we waited about 15 minutes before anyone came over to us. However, it is good enough that you can get passed that.

“Service horrible”
Reviewed August 1, 2014

We have been to this restaurant on all our trips to asbury park/ocean grove and have enjoyed it but this last time yesterday was pretty bad. The experience was the worst we have ever had at any restaurant and we eat out several times a week. We felt like we were on candid camera but no one came out to say it was a joke. Where our food arrived the person deliverying our food tried to carry too much then started screaming at us to grab our food otherwise he was going to drop it. So we all had to get up and try to catch our plates. Not even a thank you or an i'm sorry. oh well -we then had to ask three times for silverware. By the third time the waitress got very annoyed. Finally someone in our group ordered the avocado vegetarian sandwich she went to take a bite and spit it out-to show us that the bread was all green from mold. The response from the wait staff was -I kid you not- do we want to have it taken away-that was it. We went to try to talk to someone else but the response was that they are redoing it --which we took as they are keeping the ingredients but replacing the bread. Again where is the candid camera guy -time to reveal yourself. Again no sorry about that-nothing. Really unbelievable. We actually had to check the bill to make sure we weren't charged for the sandwich. In the spirit of the evening that would not have surprised us. Is there an adult manager at home???? We never saw one. Anyway - we have been very loyal customers over the years but can't say we will ever go back.

“Nice Place”
Reviewed July 31, 2014 via mobile

Had dinner here yesterday and enjoyed it. Staff was polite and courteous. Food was fresh and tasty. Plenty of brews to choose from. Rustics look all around. Would definitely eat here again. Enjoyed my time here.
