We dine in Asbury Park often and decided to give Fish another try after several years since our last visit. It was a good choice. We dined on fresh clams and Shrimp cocktail which were succulent and fresh. My husband had the special...fried soft shell crabs...and loved it. I had a pasta from the menu ...I think it was a carbonera with a fried egg on top....wow ...it was delicious and rich and creamy. We finished with a three part dessert of a soft choc cake, ice cream and strawberries and cream which was the least impressive of the courses but ok. The atmosphere was hip and bustling. It was a strange Saturday night as it was memorial Day weekend and not as busy as we expected but we loved eating at the bar and it is now going to be one of regular stops.
Interesting interior too....it used to be a bank and the old safe is still visible in the back of the room.
