This tour isn’t just about seeing the beautiful graffiti, it’s about understanding the history of comuna 13. Which to be honest is pretty impressive.
There is some amazing street art and excellent photo opportunities on this tour.

We loved the tour and how it felt like we were getting a deep glimpse into the communa. The only downside is that it’s far too long.

When you come to Medellin, it is very important to do the graffiti tour, because you get to know how this part of the city (Comuna 13) is trying to come out of the violence through art, music and dance. My friends and I got in contact with the guys from Casa Kolacho (+57 3113473131) and they gave us a tour from the Metro Station (San Javier) to the Graffitis and stairways. The best part about this tour is that you get to know the story of violence of the place by kids that grew up in this place and how they have been part of the transformation, also they take you to a place where you can eat a Crema (a kind of ice cream of Mango) and to a coffee shop that are doing things to help develope the economy of this part of the city. Come to the Graffiti tour and experience the transformation of these place and enjoy the great street art that is there.

We had a guide called Sergio he was one of the friendliest guys ive ever met and seemed to be connected to like almost all the lovely people in medellin. He told us so much about the graffities and the storys behind it. It was fascinating and very exciting. If your in medellin you defnetly have to take a tour to comuna 13 and ask for Sergio!!! Thank you so much i really enjoyed the trip.
