Joining the Fluenz program, especially the Medellin Immersion, was the best decision I could have made for my Spanish! From the moment you step off the plane, you are greeted with the most hospitable team. From those very first moments, the coaches and program directors made me feel comfortable with my current level of Spanish which set me up with the right mentality heading into the week. The classes were tailored to meet me at my current level, and I saw amazing progress in such a short period of time. I felt this week not only gave me a boost to my current level, but it also helped me understand how to better learn Spanish. The immersion week gave me confidence I needed to continue my Spanish journey!
In addition to the learning, the cultural experience that Fluenz brings to an Immersion is unrivaled. Fluenz does such a wonderful job to bring participants close to the culture through Medellin’s history, art, music, and food! You don’t just get to be in a beautiful place, you get to live it and experience like the local community. Every excursion we took was rich with Medellin history and helped us all make a connection to the Spanish language, further enriching the experience. And I must comment on the food! All of the meals were so carefully curated and helped to tell the story of Medellin, as well. The meals were all unforgettable!
This was truly an experience that I hope to replicate soon!
