Great decor/design - if you are into interior design and hip spaces, this is for you.
Awesome outdoor area on each room (including simple standard rooms) to take in the skyline & surrounding mountains
Amazingly comfortable beds
Friendly service (especially given that we had our kids with us on this trip and that is NOT their demographic by a long shot - we were there during fashion week no less...)
"Beautiful people" watching
Nightlife - though we couldn't enjoy because we had our kids - there was a velvet rope to get into the hotel each night...it's "the place" to be these days in Medellin
Amazingly comfortable beds, great blackout curtains and climate controlled rooms (a rare luxury in many Central & S. American hotels I've experienced with wall units - even in high end hotels).
Floors need a major scrub & dusting - other reviewers have remarked about this and they are definitely true
Towels - very skimpy on what they gave you and most were already "threadbare"...shocking compared to the very nice bedding here
Toiletries - never restocked during our entire 4 day stay (we didn't ask for more but stayed in several other high end hotels during our trip and toiletries were always replenished).
Maid service - very basic & other high end hotels in Colombia included at least twice daily cleaning and tidying
Dead plants everywhere - really, in the city that has a flower festival...
Breakfast - part buffet/part hot food served - pretty disorganized & no one ever got their meal at the same time. Average compared to other high end hotels in Colombia that we had inclusive breakfast
It's LOUD. Even with the soundproofing the area is THE party area - even without the rooftop bar/pool, it's loud.
When we were there the pool was closed for fashion shows & then cleaning (though they did give us a key to a room to use a jacuzzi tub for a few hours for our kids to have fun - it was great as it was on one of their beautiful balconies with a view - we had sunset cocktails & the kids "had a swim")
No gym or spa though they were slated to open in the next few weeks.
Rooms are very small but the outdoor area more than makes up for the small rooms.
