Booked an airport transfer (a Van) with the hotel because we had 5 people and a lot of luggage. When we arrived at the airport, there was a driver waiting with a sedan thinking it was only 1 person. He said his friend was close by and we decided to just roll with it. Waited about 15 minutes and thankfully were able to fit everything in the two cars. The cars didn’t even have a company name/logo, it was their personal cars. I complained to the lady that confirmed the service (our exchanges were via email) and there was no answer. Very disappointing when you arrive with a child and 2 elderly people.

Hotel located in the El Poblado neighborhood which is the the best place for tourist to stay.

The hotel itself is new (about a year old) but nothing special to it.

The rooms were spacious (booked the junior suite) but a couple things below average.

- There were no glasses in the room. Had to go to the lobby to the glasses.
- We drank the water that was in the fridge but they were never replaced so we had to ration our water the last day.
- The bathroom floor wasn’t very clean (hair on the floor).
- AC unit was noite and it is located right above the bed (sounded like running water).
- The soap and shampoo in the shower is in refillable dispensers. The sink soap was the same. I’ve never seem that in a hotel before. The top of the dispensers were removable so I think it’s not the best from a hygiene stand point, you never know who was there before you (see pictures).
- There was no shelf in the shower so we had to place everything on the floor.
- Along with its “snacks” for sale, there was a condom … never seen that in a hotel either.
- No pen or notepad in the room.
- TV cable did not work during our whole stay.
- Breakfast could be better. Very limited choices.

On our 2nd day, housekeeping cleaned our bed but not our bathroom. When we arrived around 4 pm, we asked for it to be cleaned. After half an hour we requested again, then someone came. The lady said that she forgot the towels but would bring it right away. After 30 minutes we called again. The lady came but brought only half of what we needed. She came back after another 20 minutes with the rest of it, but it was only half correct …. We just gave up and made it work with what we had.

Ricardo at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

I do have to say that the bed was very comfortable.

Overall the rooms lacked some basic amenities. It seems more like an “Inn” than a hotel. Well, I stayed in many “Inn’s” better equipped than this “hotel’.

Medellin does not have great hotel choices. This is for sure a good option but it does have its limitations.

My wife was very humiliated by the security man in the hotel.2 white couples entered the hotel in front of us and were not questioned by the security man. My wife who is black was questioned and humiliated by this hotel. They made her feel like a prostitute. It is a shame that in this day and age a hotel allows this to go on.
Stay away from this hotel.

During our Colombia trip, we stayed at 3 different hotels (2 in Cartagena and the Binn Hotel in Medellin) and I have to say, this hotel out-shined the others with ease! Excellent customer service, very high-tech rooms, extremely clean, spacious... but what stood out the most was the bed and their pillows! It sounds odd to say that the best part of our stay at this hotel was the sleep we got, but it really was unlike any other bed I've ever slept on! I travel for work pretty often and try out several hotels around the states and none of them even come close! This hotel is also in the most perfect location since you're extremely close to El Poblado, Parque Lleras, Hato Viejo and so many other staples spots to visit in Medellin! Definitely recommend!

This was a great hotel. The hotel has warm friendly staff who were very helpful about both about generally getting about Medellin but also in access a doctor to come to the hotel for our son. The service was good and the rooms clean comfortable with a range electronic features. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The food was good quality too. We would definitely use this hotel again and would recommend it to others

This seemed like a value-priced hotel given its location, even though it was on the high side for our Colombian trip. We couldn't have been happier. In fact, stayed an extra night.

The room we had came with an amazing view. It was large and modern. Breakfast was an amazing buffet most mornings. When occupancy was low our last morning, we were able to order whatever and as much as we wanted. The staff was always gracious and helpful.

There's a small, but adequate workout room as well as small "pool" with an amazing view. The pool is really a very large jacuzzi. Steamroom too.

Binn was a great departure from the simpler hotels we stayed at throughout Colombia at a higher price, but we never felt bad about paying it!

Be aware that the hotel is at the top of the hill about a mile from the Metro. A nice 5 block walk downhill to restaurants and bars, but you'll want to take a $3 taxi back up the hill.
