El Cielo is a really fun experience and the food is amazing. Great wine selection as well. The staff was very helpful despite a slight language barrier; they did their best to explain everything in english.
There's the possibility to have ten or twenty one mini courses. We opted for the ten course menu.

My husband and I wanted to go to this restaurant because it sounded interesting, and interesting is was!! When we got there, it was a bit early for dinner so it was completely empty. I'm not sure if that was the reason, but the service was outstanding!! We chose the "18 course" experience. Not to be forgotten!! The food was incredible!!!

This is among the most interesting dining experience I've had, and you pay for that experience. The restaurant delights in provoking your senses with different experiences. The night I was there one course was sugary water poured on my hands; sounds weird, but it was an unusual tactile experience. Every dish was interesting in its own way. Yum!

The place is not in a very nice setting given the price...over 200,000 COP for two for dinner. Its in El Poblad near lleras but in in a building that does not meet its aspirations. LITTLE molecular cooking overall..a nice Chocolate experience that CAn be eaten but is used to entice the senses..and the dissolving towels a nice but ou can buy those in he states at WALGREENS but over all its more of a tapas like place with a set menu. the cook was said to have trained with ARZAk in spain and an excuse was given for the LACK of true innovation due to the RESISTANCE of paisas to foreign cuisine..which I tought was novel in itself... but the price was too high for the somewhat lacking experience....you wont misss out if you give it a pass...and you will have a good meal ( with a hunger pang no too long after) if you go BUT dont expect el Bulli like food or experience as there is little molecular stuff going on and in fact its more about the hype then anything else...it is, after all, a novel concept in colombia and in that environment can claim some fame so give it a try if you must but dont fell bad if you miss out on what some press claim is the best eats in medellin....because its NOT.

Be prepared to be wowed by the creativity of this chef. We opted for the the full experience -as opposed to the shorter tour- and sampled everything on the menu. The food was very good, the presentation outstanding, and the service attentive. It is more than a meal, it is truly an experience.
