My jaw dropped when they opened the door to our room (room #7). With at least 20 foot ceiling and beautiful chandelier, a sitting area, beautiful antique furniture and artwork, and a balcony to watch all the happenings of Cartagena. That was one downside, you could also hear all the noise from the street. We used earplugs and a loud sound machine and were able to sleep, but wouldn't recommend this room to someone who needs a quiet room. We also had room #6 for my mom. While that room wasn't as impressive it was very charming and quiet. As others have stated this boutique hotel is stunning. You feel like royalty staying here. Everyone is kind and makes sure you have a nice stay. They will make whatever you like for breakfast. We also ordered lunch there and the food was incredible. We were traveling with small children and they were very accomodating and kind to our kids. Pool was wonderful as it was covered and not in direct sun. Terrace was lovely for full sun and my kids used "jacuzzi" as a perfect size pool for them. Great location, great service, and beautiful grounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thanks for making our stay memorable!

Our family spent a short, yet absolutely wonderful time in Cartagena. We absolutely loved everything about Casa Pestagua. The location is unbeatable. We were half a block away from La Plaza Santo Domingo. We walked everywhere! The staff was so accommodating and the rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. I would absolutely recommend it,

This was a gorgeous hotel - it was just as beautiful as the web site advertises. The room was large (huge bathroom!) with hot water and a/c. The breakfast was great. The staff was very helpful and super friendly. They helped us arrange dinner reservations as well as a day trip to an island outside of Cartagena. Great location in the middle of everything. I couldn't recommend it more!
