I had my wedding in this house, and was the best house/hotel experience ever. Great people, great service and amazing home. Overall Highly recommend, and I hardly ever recommend anything to any one but this is great.

This hotel has so a great design that really looks amazing in Cartagena. It feels more like you are a guest at a mansion and less of a hotel feel. The pool is beautiful. This is one of the most romantic hotels you could come across.

My fiancé and I stayed at Casa Pestagua at the end of March for our friends wedding and we loved every moment. The rooms are beautiful and each one is unique. The staff and service was top notch, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, we especially loved the breakfast. And the location was perfect with great restaurants and shopping just walking distance from the hotel. We definitely plan to come back and we recommend this wonderful hotel to our family and friends.

This hotel was like staying in an old castle! Room 7 is the best (avoid room 5). The service is absolutely incredible. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The setting is so pretty, we just loved being there. Location is perfect - walk to everything. If we ever travel to Cartagena again, we will definitely stay here. We just loved it and felt that it was magical!
Room tip: ask for room 7.

The best service in the world. Small hotel , 12 rooms, with very personalized approach. Every wish is taken seriously. Great location , unique atmosphere. Excellent food. Some rooms need to be cleaner.

If you are planning to either have a magical time in Cartagena or have the wedding of your dreams, Casa Pestagua is the perfect place.
The stay:
We hired the hotel for 2 nights/3 days for our wedding celebration, we hosted around 30 of our friends who stayed with us in the hotel. From the moment everyone walked in they were impressed by the personalised service, charm of the property and the perfect setting for a colonial holiday.
The breakfast is very generous with plenty of fruit, fresh juices and the famous Colombian arepas. All our friends have mentioned how much they enjoyed their stay at the hotel.
The main pool is perfect for people with kids as it is shaded and the rooftop is the perfect place to sunbathe or have a pool party with friends.
We stayed in the suite and it is the biggest room and shower I have ever stayed in! All the bedrooms are unique and very spacious.
The wedding:
Paola Cuéllar was the person in charge to make sure the day went to plan! She helped me dealing with vendors, planing the day, decoration and ideas. We had around 50 guests and I can't thank her enough for her professionalism and efficiency on the wedding day and evening! While I was having fun she was making sure the party was running according to plan. To the point of handing me the bouquet for the toss.
The wedding food was delicious! We had tuna tartare and steak. The service was on time and we received many complements about the presentation and quality of the meal.
I don't live in Colombia and throughout the planning period the hotel was always very responsive to my e-mails and calls.
All the vendors, restaurants and activities recommended by hotel exceeded our expectations.
You won't have any problems with the staff! Everyone is very professional and friendly specially Orlando.
Do not hesitate to stay in this perfect Boutique hotel!!! We can't wait to be back.
