One tired, overstimulated evening we went by San Roque Restaurant and enjoyed the owners' welcome and relaxed calm atmosphere. We started with chicken sate which was Devine, a thick sauce that was as good as anywhere I have had it, and I try it regularly. We also had a delicious warm shrimp starter in a delicate sauce, a welcome taste change from all the shrimp we have been eating on the Caribbean. Not being too hungry, for dinner we shared Gado Gado, and the owner brought it attractively served on two plates. It too was delicious!
