We were on a walking tour of the old city on a very hot day when we came across this pretty little park. It was well shaded with places to sit, relax and enjoy some moments of peace and quiet. There were vendors about, but they’re everywhere in the walled city, so no problem. It was a small oasis of calm and tree cover in the centre of what is a major tourist attraction. I thought it was lovely.

This cute small park was very relaxing and great to take a break at. There was a man feeding pigeons and for a few pesos you can feed them too. There are a few street vendors that approach you but nothing out of the norm.

Sit and give food to the doves while resting from the walking and see how they come to your hands under the Bolívar statue's look.

The setting is nice with lots of places to sit and relax in the park. There are vendors around the perimeter. It is a small park but well kept

To me, this shady oasis is the prettiest plaza of them all. It is a great place to escape the broiling sun.
